nope doesn't sound terrible at all definitely some cool stuff going on in this. great use of the reverse reverb. Really like when it picks up for a bit at 1:15. Did you try adding a beat to this at all? might be tricky... So what's wrong with your hearing?? |

UFO Piano Michael, what did you to the piano track? I love the sound you pulled out of it. Approval granted, as if there was a doubt. -g Here's the original recording with five or six variations attached: Duet No. 2 Variations. |

to bad you can't hear... ...what you did here, for now. the backing track behind the marimba is really cool in all the sonic details that come out. Cool trip out piece Michael. And you've better have seen a doc about the hearing issue |

Thinking about clipping my ears... ...if this is what you get to be able to do... Man!... A trip without the side effects (I hear side effects are no fun - that's what I heard) I don't really have a reality based reference for what I'm hearing and maybe since you can't hear, that' how you arrived here?... Curious.... Pretty exciting little joyride! Thanks M2! Sorry to hear about your ears. Truly. Thanks for the trip! Macca |

Another KT fan, I see I've long used the KT granulator left and right to spice up tracks. But I wouldn't dream of using it without being able to hear the results accurately. It's not something trivial like an EQ or a compressor. But your results sound just fine. A very intresting sonic exploration. It's quite pleasant, in fact. Hope your ears come back to normal quickly. Otherwise you'll be reduced to making music for birds and dogs! |

Sigh... I can't listen here unless I can download it, so I'll get back to it either tonight or tomorrow a.m., M2. Sorry 'bout that! Peace - Macca |

This is BRILLIANT!!! Can't get enough. So subtle but infectious. Love how you get every synth working to their max and nothing covered up. SUPERB! Great collab guys! Only wish is was longer. A lot longer. |

Great track Lovely piece of experimental music. Love the layers, rhythms and melodies that are stretched and played about with. Really cool track Michael. |

it is arresting it is a very unusual effect. it is not sampled backward? is it kt granulator that affects the marimba with a soft attack? it is a world full of so many things to learn. thank you for the new sounds. 0x0 |

wow! you weren't kidding. i went to hear greg's piece, and it really is a thing of beauty! thanks for turning me on to that. Your piece, I love as well. I wish I had the talent to take inspiration from that, and with a handicapped ear, too! I like that feter called it spheric. I agree. Greg's panning made me feel like I was literally tussled inside his static/boop boop world, like the listener is the ghost instrument in his composition (brilliant!), and I like that you kept elements of that by making your piece something that surround the listener. I love your ending! |

It's NOT 'beautiful' LOL (is that the bad news?), but it's very interesting (that must be good news), no-one would ever guess there was a piano in there, but I do get a hint of the marimba sort of breathy-fied from time to time. Would be good as a backdrop for a psychological thriller maybe, cheers M
