Keywords oh! mio babbino caro! (1)Puccini (1)
Description The clarinet is played by John Scantlebury a musician I often work with and who can also be heard here on St.Philip's Street Breakdown. The other instrument used is a Panasonic keyboard, maybe not the best stage instrument in the world but it's often useful for recording.

You Made My Day!
This is great... I'm speechless! I feel that I'm so relaxed after listening to this piece (as I've just finished studying!). Thanks for sharing, this is an unforgettable work.

Sad...
Sad music, minor chords and everything about them is my most favorite type to listen to and to play. It always express the feelings, and dig deep down to the heart. I love this piece!

"oh! mio babbino caro!"
weird - I left a comment awhile ago but it's not here. Well this song is worth trying again - I love this woofer! The clarinet playing is so so good, and you did wonders with your keyboard. What I said before is, a keyboard is great because it can be ANY instrument. You got this JUST right - my whole family is enjoying it this morning. thanks (hope this comment posts!)

Hello Karen
I must have had the same problems with comments half a dozen times! =as you say weird.

I'm glad you like this recording, we did play this a few times on gigs about four years ago.

Thank you for listening,

John

Bringing culture to MJ?
Blimey, baroque and now opera.

I kept on expecting it go into My Old Man's A Dustman for some reason.

Some seriously nice playing. Excellent breath control and a wonderfully understated backing.

Cheers

Dick

I never thought
of doing My old man's a dustman in the middle of that, what a great idea.

Thank you for your comments Dick,

Blimey - Acker Bilk
John, your music has such depth - is there nothing you can't do?
Sorry about the joke above - but couldn't resist. The clarinet actually sounds beautiful and your accompaniment is very tasteful and also beautifully done.
Thanks for bringing such varied and wonderful music to our attention.
Cheers
Len

stranger on the shore -
- of course, we should have arranged it as a medley shouldn't we? - Acker Bilk and Dai Marley - what an act ay ? poor old Puccini would be turning in his grave. Actually we often get requests for Stranger on the shore at gigs.

Thank you Len, hope you sorted the pc out,

John

John...
Mr Woofer3... How can I favorite everything you do? Is there a setting, a button for this!?

Very very sweet and the clarinet is so mellow/soulful. Really a wonderful tune!

woofer3 said 220 days ago
this was very much
a spur of the moment thing which was recordrd in my house at a rehearsal.

Thanks Mark,

John

Classy Classical
Very well done, as always. The keyboard sounds good and the clarinet is excellent.

I loved your covers of the old jazz tunes, but your classical efforts, the Baroque and this one are right up there.

Great job, Woofie.
