A great start! I hope the sound man sorts out the vocals though as your voice really needs to come up a bit. A lovely song Feter and it's great to be able to listen to one of yours after all your sterling work listening and commenting on everyone else. I think you should finish the show as well :-) Cheers Dick |

My dear Feter As your voice came in on this I reminded soundwise of Mississippi John Hurt. I am a big John Hurt fan. I like this a lot, it is very rich. John. |

Soft and tender... Such sweet words to your lady love, and I'm sure she was very touched to hear this. I'm so glad you got some studio time. Your guitar sounds great, as well as your voice. Great coffeehouse opener! :-) |

Wonderful Sounds great, warm and intimate, but your voice could be a bit louder in the mix, as Caroline suggests. This is wonderful, as always! |

Classic folk.... Feter this is so cool. I mean it jumps right out from the sixties and fits in with those great old folk songs from then. Your singing and guitar playing, I really enjoyed... singing such great lyrics. You are a troubadour par excellence! I hope to visit your coffee house. Jack |

My Dear Lady Feter - this is just wonderful! I agree with DWL, it's great to be able to listen to a new song of yours - you're such a supporter of everybody here at MJ. I think you kind of hold the "soul" of the community. Thanks for this lovely work - congratulations |

cool coffee shop open mic. I see you used a zoom H2. I've been thinking about getting one to record some of my jams with friends. How do you like it? |

Nice song Feter Lovely sentiments and a very nice guitar to back it up. I have to agree with DWL on the vocal being to far back in the mix, and I also think you need to cut back on the vocal reverb as it makes the vocal somewhat unclear. Great start though Feter my friend, I hope you finish this one, it's got a lot of potential. Thanks for sharing, Ed |

Right at home! Love it Feter... so good to hear you recording live. The "room" recording makes the guitar sound a little echoey and "boomy", which is why I think people say your voice is a little soft in this mix. But I just sat back and listened to your warm words, and sipped my mocha, and enjoyed the sweet words and performance. Thank you Feter! ttfn, Drakonis |

I think Birdman Wayne got it right when he said "warm singing", and I second that. I love the lyrics here, and the sentiment is sweet and charming. Short and sweet! Very cool. Nicely done, my friend. Peace. |

What a great part of MJ you are giving so much! In music and friendliness. Enjoy that nice bass voice. It sure would not be an MJ Coffee Shop without Feter! Kinda like former Yankee baseball great Joe Dimaggio was Mr. Coffee. Feter is the Mr. MJ Coffe Shop Guy! Thanks for sharing such warm, folk music! Hope you have a terrific week! |

I think I have said this before too ..... ... but you write great tunes and I ALWAYS think you should bring your vocals up somewhat in the mix .... they deserve to be heard with a little more clarity ... time to stop hiding and SHINE those vocals !!!! |

I like the light vocals I like your feather light vocals in this song. It does remind me of coffee house singers. And it creates a unique cozy conversational effect. I did listen to some of your other songs and i am glad to hear that you do have a more powerful voice to use when you want it. |

Genuine and catchy Great song writing with amazingly simple yet heartfelt lyrics. I like the guitar, but your voice is a little bit down in the mix sometimes. Your warm voice should be brought up a little bit. Great job Feter! |
