Heartfelt Heartfelt song. A song of unconditional love. Sorry for your lose, too. Very nice production and your voice sounds excellent. It has a kinda' country tone to it. A mother's love is the truest kind. Agree with caroline about the abrupt ending. I think that may have been something you overlooked when you did the final mix. I have done that before, so now I always listen to the entire song before posting. Great song my friend. LL |

I Remember Craig, this is so special. Thanks for posting what this song is for you, in the description. This just aches with authenticity and the powerfulness of love. Lyrics, vocals, guitar - all wonderful. Thanks for this special song Craig. |

The guitars on this remind me of the late, great Grant Mclennan (Go-Betweens). The song is sad - but beautiful. Lovely performance. The ending is abrubt as mentioned. Peter |

... the guitar playing sounds really pretty. i thought my mother died once and all that came out was a song "i don't care if you're dead) your voice sounds very honest and strong on this. the feeling is clearly there. this is really a good and meaningful song. |

remembering man you really really wore your heart on your sleeve on this one....what a great way to work out your loss... beautiful and honest, I think this would put a smile on her face. Very fitting tribute.... as far as the music...great mix, great playing, the vocals are quite good as well.... I can really hear the void she left in your life, but I can also hear the joy that her memory brings you.... Thanks for sharing such an honest piece of music with us here.... peace....Ian |

You can sure sing I am not sure if I have heard better country ballad than you here. You have harmony so much like the Everly Brothers. Amazing. What a great natural gift. Your terrific voice just belts out bigtime. Again what a gift! When I hear that type of voice I think this guy has made money singing and maybe a lot of it. It seems so star quality! Enjoyed the guitar as well. Would love to hear a bit more bassy-ness in the guitar. Maybe when you mic I would suggest making mic point towards the top of the whole of the guitar and away from the fretboard and the bridge. But it does sound like a nice backup. Just a suggestion to an already terrific song!!!! |

A lovely song about your mother and your early years.
I am lucky that both my parents are still alive and healthy, but I have moments when I feel guilty of perhaps taking advantage of their unconditional love, especially when I was younger.
A very thought provoking song, and I am going to visit them right now.
