I just can't get enough of your music. I really liked the lead-in on this one, very unusual and unexpected. Awesome sounds used in here. This is a crazy journey you take us on here. It's great. I love it.

Crazy Journey

I'm very glad you like it . Thank you very much.

Ibstrat said 176 days ago
I'm
not sure how old this is, but it doesn't matter- it just sounds great. The basic song is very simple, but to play it like this and groove in 5/4 time... amazing.fantastic soloing as always.I love the ending!

great musicians
a really hot fusion sound and a very good bass who reminds me on jaco pastorius

HenriROGERsoloandbands said 175 days ago
Pastorius

Yes , Claude the bass player worked a lot on his sound .
Thank you very much .

Dadai said 175 days ago
wow....kinetic energy....
Man this thing moves and grooves... that bassman, Claude, is killer, and such expansive sounding keyboards.... really cool. And nice job by the drummer, Gilles.

Kudos gentlemen!

HenriROGERsoloandbands said 175 days ago
Expansive

Thank you very much .
We made a LP , had gigs in jazz clubs for a year . Nice moments .

peacepiano said 175 days ago
Great Stuff
Very much enjoyed. What keyboards did you use on this one?

Thanks
Bill

HenriROGERsoloandbands said 174 days ago
Keyboards

I had a yamaha DX7 and a Korg wich I don't remember the name , I made the "organ" solo sound with it .
Thank you very much .

DWL said 174 days ago
Takes some work
maintaining that pace and rhythm.

I don't know when it's from but it has a real 70s groove (which it won't be if you used a DX7!)

Great sounds.

Cheers

Dick

DX7

1985 or 6 .

Thank you very much .

i have to say that i wouldn't recognise ....
"jazz fusion" if i feel over it. 5/4 time? do what? but.... i like it - it sounds funky to me - thank you for the experience

HenriROGERsoloandbands said 173 days ago
Funky

You're right the bass and drums are a bit funky , the soloing
is more fusion .
Thank you very much.

davisamerica said 171 days ago

Hmmm...
...I'm blown away that I don't have you on my faves list...thought I did...not to mention the email notifications for exceptional tunes like this...I shall correct that, on another window, while I listen to this some more...excellent...love to see you guys live.

HenriROGERsoloandbands said 168 days ago
live

Thank you very much .
This was a 80's trio .
You're welcome at the So What club anytime , for live with the actual quintet, on the "sunny" french riviera .

Power trio
Some fantastic music going on. Some of your organ work takes me back to the 1970s and one of my favorites Keith Emmerson. Anyhow great stuff all of you.
Thanks and be well, Russ

Emerson

Yes he inspired me .
