Description I just posted this song as an Open Collab with the guitar track removed. I'm in a rut and was hoping someone would provide me with some inspiration. Here's what I came up with.

If you want to take a stab at it with just the bass and rhythm guitars backing you, here's the link.

http://www.macjams.com/song/43259

This song was written with the typical Al Green chord progressions in mind.

??
what effect did yu use here for the guitar ?
its a killer ...just a distortion >? your
guitar sounds like Aria pro II ..I miss playin
with it ...!?!

Elevator_Funk said 177 days ago
well...
my guitar is equipped with humbuckers. I recorded the rhythm dry with no effects except 20% gb reverb.

The lead track was doubled, i used GB English Channel panned 45º right on one track and Super Fuzz panned 45º left on the other track so it was a bit clean and a bit dirty. thanks for askin

Some nice tones
You get some nice lead tones. I wish the rhythm was a little more present in the mix--also would be nice to hear a live drummer on this. Overall nice groove!

thanks for listening
Yes. I wish I had a live drummer too! : ) If I new someone who played simple al green beats I would be the happiest person in the world. Unfortunately everyone I know thinks they're either Kieth Moon or Mike Portnoy :(

Great bit of playin
You have some chops and it shows in this. I would have liked to have the rhythm guitar a tad higher in the mix with a touch of distortion on it too. Just my taste is all. I'm a fan on the basis of 2 listens now and I am headed down the list.
