a cloud burst of inspiration. I like the groove from black & scratchy. I'm still amazed how you can get electric guitar sound. must be some high fretting huh? some good spicey salsa of a song |

Spicy Man, you are such a romantic, aren't you - that's so sweet. The bass riff is really catchy, and the vox are fine man (love the harmonies) - need a bit more eq and reverb mainly. Never was a woman so loved! |

not out of tune You have a very cool voice if you'd ask me. Reminds me of the singer in the band Cake. Laid back and cool. And those guitars are way cool man. For a sketch this sounds pretty tasty to me. Cool lyrics:) |

fuzzy wings it's different from your other songs,I feel, a bit less uptempo, but tenser, more dramatic. The bass line had a good pulse of its own. Beautiful fuzz sound for the rest. I like the bridge and your german sherpherd ghost backing vox trick works again. |

hello my friend Love the story you wrote above. I hope my Cherokee will inspire me in our kitchen one day. Dutch kitchen that is! It is so good to hear your voice on top of some layers of distorted tears and mellow bass. I digged the bass-line a lot...go figure;-p Marc |

I'll take the bad drums, off key vocals and heavily distorted bass guitars any day. All sounds rather good to me. Great tune! Peter |

Very cool track I think its the imperfections that make it great, it gives it a live feel which does always sound better then polished pop. Rock is not my genre however I could listen to this time and again because above comment. Esp like the description about the angel falling out of heaven and you keeping her esp since she makes the best salsa in the world, lol, very funny. Well done Bob, its great as it is. |

Good heavens! Love that gritty guitar riffage Bob. Great retro sound....like some of the mid-60's Garage-Punk featured on Rhino Records' old "Nuggets" Box Set. I LOVE it! Great photo too! Be well friend! |

Where am I ? Could it be exams? Where have I been? Heaven's Doorr, maybe. Guitars are stupedious. (I made that up) What's been getting in your rockin' cool self? Okie dokie, Dave |

Imagine... A band with no guitarists and Only two bass players... Hey, in your last song I told you I like your non-mushiness and now you go and get all angelic. But the music still rocks so I guess I'll forgive it. Seriously this has a great sound including the slightly off-key vocals. I like your philosophy about continuing to pursue her after you already got her. We can all learn from that. chip |

Nice sketch of a tune Bob better than a sketch really - but I see how you'd like to hear this go further if you had the time. Maybe Vic and I will gang up on it if it's ok with you. |

A song takes wing Cool start. Isn't it great when you get the place to yourself for "music night"? It's probably a good thing it doesn't happen more often ... or nothing else would ever get done : > Obviously, this needs more lyrics. I've got a few ideas I tried to pass along to you, strictly as some possibilities, but your e-mail button says it's disabled. Let me know if you want them. |

bent I'm all for immediacy. This is very cool, dark, moody, kinda Cramps-like in a way. And I always love the RAT... I am wondering what you use for a mic? Your vox are always quite muffled with very little high end punch. I think you might be able to do an EQ fix, but think the mic is probably the culprit. (feel free to cut past & print to show your wife for proof that you DO really need to buy that mic you've been waiting for...;-)) P |

I guess rockers can love and appreciate their wives. I applaud your intent. This is "what love has to do with it." Thank you. |
