Description A choppy piano underscored by a whineing ,whingeing guitar.I don't know if it works properly. I don't think I have properly finished it and I admit that I am still pretty sh**e at the production side ...what's an equalisation for? M'Idunno.......
Hardware Keyboard doing keys and an Animal like creature using it to play the....uh ..percussion,ubiquitous variax pretending to be a 1961 Les Paul custom set on bridge and middle and that's it,hope it's somebodies flavour.
Software: Cubase VST3 as a mixing and recording device..............

Equalisation

Nice piece .
It's cool to be able to improvise with 2 different
instruments .
Guitar and piano are not easy to use together .
They both have lot of "mid" sound .
The equalisation can help to reduce the "mid" a bit and
add some treble , so you get a clearer mix .
The best way is to try many settings .
Also in this song arrangement the piano could
be playing less notes , more rythmic chords playing,
when the guitar is soloing , at least for a moment , and keep
some bars with both intruments soloing at the end .
Only options ...

Hello
and thanks for the tips and comments.I will have a go at remixing this with some Eq. I already have had a stab at some newer (unposted as yet)stuff and it is amazing the difference.Tho' some small part of me sulks and says ,thats not honest, thats not what it sounded like.....so I'll kick the s*** out of myself later.. and keep on Equalising and I may even have a go at the gain controls...mmwahahaha...you may have created a monster....Jarvo

recording honesty

This is a good question .
Some singers without a very good mic and a great sound engeneer woud have problems ...
But working on the mix is not illegal ... yet ... hehehe .

Great
Nice piano play... This sounds good.... The sound on the drums are good mixed..... Has great feelings in this song.... Great...

Jarvoid said 234 days ago
Heyho buddy
nice to hear from you again, thanx for the input....the drums
were "Payed" on the drum setting picking out the keys and trying to keep time....it was fun but makes you appreciate how difficult it must be to play drums well...but Ithink it gives a more real sound....we'll see. Thanks again.

Great improvisation with the guitar, more like blues jazz vibe going on, but great nonetheless!
