Exquisite darkness
Welcome to Macjams! What a nice introduction piece, I like it a great deal. I hope it is OK to make suggestions? I think this is very good, and worth making sure to push it to perfection (it is not far from perfection now.) There seems to be a little problem with the mix, it sounds possibly mixed too "loud", it is close to clipping, or maybe it is too compressed? Maybe lower the overall volume slightly, and reduce the compression a little? The siren that comes in is perfect, and very chilling... but I might suggest lowering its volume slightly and giving it more hall-reverb, so it sounds further away. That might make it more realistic sounding.

But those are the only suggestions. Overall, great writing, great guitar/bass work. This does give a feeling of helplessness, ennui. Very well done! I'm off to tell some other Macjammers to listen to you. I look forward to more music from you, after I recover from this one :-)

ttfn,
Drakonis

Positive suggestions
Thank you darkonis for you support and suggestions, yes the is a beat in the song, which starts from first of it, it has too much bass so it made some problems for me in mixing, I'll try to fix it by limiting frequency og that bit hope it will work, or as you said, lowering master volume will help, The sire already has hall reverb effect but I will add more to check it out how it becomes.

Thanks and feel free in telling your suggestions.

Killer!
This is gorgeous. Really took my breath, could be a cinematic soundtrack somewhere but really amazing. The guitar sounds so nice and nice beats feelings you captured, impressive choice of sounds. I'll leave the mix and use of effects to Eduard "Drakonis", I agree with him.

I bow deeply for this work man, really out of words!

Big WELCOME to MacJams, hope you'll enjoy your time here

Take Care

Thanks for your welcome, your choice and support birdman.
It was very nice for me to see positive reactions from you.

Rock on and stay high.

Diviner said 244 days ago
Loved it from the begining
with the warped vocals. All the sounds are really powerful and love the melodies/harmonies that you have created here and very atmospheric esp when sirens kick in. A very good first submit. Well done, cracking track.

Confounded said 244 days ago
Well
Thanks Diviner for supporting my first song in here, it made me glad.

Take Care & rock on.

it is a lullaby in terrors
it is difficult to relax. it sounds stressful there. a lullaby is needed. this music is bleak. it is sadness in the ears. it is beautiful. it speaks to this bleak heart too. thank you for the lullaby. 0x0

...
Heart touching comment. thanks... yes it all comes from inside. and is seems you what inside is, what stress is and what sadness is...

Take care man.

This is a very powerful piece of music. Wow. You took me on quite a journey with this one. The only suggestion I have is to maybe try out a few different sounds for the breathy flute part around 5:00. My ear was wanting it to be something a little harsher, a little bit brighter to go with the feeling of the piece. The flute just seemed a little too subdued - not...angry enough, not dissonant enough.

Thank you for sharing this with us - alot of emotional honesty in this piece. I look forward to hearing more from you.

hi
Hi Shay,
Thanks for your coment and for the great support, and I will try your suggestion on the song to see what happens. I'm happy that I could marque my feelings to listener.

LunaTrick said 244 days ago
Fine brooding piece of music
Builds nicely to an interesting climax with the drums. It works as an instrumental - but I could imagine a Lisa Gerrard or Azim Ali type of vocal crooning from the middle of your mix. I actually liked the volume and placement of the siren - which brought some positive tension at the right moment. I look forward to more of your work!

Confounded said 243 days ago
Thanks
thank you for your positive comment and support, sure if I had access to lisa gerrard I would for her to sing ;)

Take care.

first.. a very big welcome to macjams ... amazing piece of work .. a true lullaby to the terror of the soul in stress and fear .. powerful work ... i actually have no suggestions to improve this as i found it to be quiet compelling as is ... i suppose it is a tribute about where you are ... amazing!

Confounded said 239 days ago
Thanks
Thank you for the welcome and for your idea about the song. These sentences give me the enrgy to work more on it.
Another good thing here is the level of understanding netween members, may cause they are artists, and an artist must know about the inside!
You suppused the song write, but a sad and sorrowful or even tired lullaby. A lullaby for my beautiful country which is demised by some idiots, and for my modern-sick and stressful city with it's depressed atmosphere, hard rules, hard lifes and blah blah blah...
A lullaby for myself from my inner feelings, for a mind which is blowing from thoughts...

lengold said 239 days ago
I found
this to be deeply moving - an extraordinarily beautiful piece of music. I also welcome you to Macjams.
Cheers
Len

The breathing sweeping synth sure is a great
background for this wonderful movie track type instrumental.

And in that is chuck full of great sound effects very well placed I think.

A wonderful addition to MJ and of course you as well.

Thanks for such a great intro to us MJers.

Mideastern Lullabye
Davisamerica just started a forum thread about this song - I totally trust his taste, so came over to have a listen to this. I'm completely stunned. This is one of the best things I've heard on MJ, period. It's filled with emotion, conflict, grief, hope, HEART. You've put this together so perfectly - even though some of the suggestions I've read below are probably good ones, I can only focus on how amazing this is. I'm excited to have you at MJ and hope to hear much more of your incredible talent transformed into music. If this is an example of what you can do, we're in for an ongoing treat. Welcome to MJ!

Like looking into a deep well - beautifully sad piece of music - full of longing, and I detect a hint of optimism.

Excellent first post Amirreza.

really great sounds and love how it progresses. started out a little dark, but there is the sound of hope running through it for me. this would work beautifully as a soundtrack piece.

Lullaby
I liked the overall feel to this piece and the sythn sounds are appropriate and very nicely done. The recording sounded fine to me over my computer speakers.

My only suggestion is to drop the drums at the end for something simpler or tympani rather than a set of drums. Your piece has a classical feel to it and I think the classical drums would emphasis the feel.

Overall, very well done and welcome to MacJams.

shavingronaldscar said 238 days ago
word!
I too caught the forum thread. great work! I'm not sure I agree with the constructive suggestions that have been given below. One thing I would say is that the synths come in too loud and strong when the drum beat kicks in. I think they dominate in a place where so many nice little things could come through strongly instead. But mixing is an art unto itself, (as is illustrated by the presence of disagreement,) and I feel that you have accomplished what you set out to accomplish. beautiful work!

Really cool first offering! Welcome aboard!

This is powerful...like the aftermath to a tragedy of epic proportions...or a soundtrack to our all-too-real nightmares...

Well done!

nice build up to start. i like the use of the siren it was unexpected and than it starts sounding like a storm brewing in the background. pretty cool.

VicDiesel said 234 days ago
Dark and sweet
Interesting track. You move between various modes. The beginning is the most adventurous, with some interesting sound manipulation going on. Then lots of big synths with a couple of subtle filter sweeps. The bass drum every measure sounds strange. As if its character is not constant, and also it sounds a bit off the beat. It's probably on the beat, but shifting it forward might psycho-acoustically help a bit to make it *feel* on the beat.

The siren section is pretty cool. That initial drum hit is wonderful, and the low rumblings are pretty gut-rumbling too.

The more traditional drums are mixed very well. Nice job. That bass at the end was a surprise, but a good one.

In all, an interesting track with lots of cool sounds. Good stuff.

I read.....
drakonis' comments, and I found the mix to be very nice. We really don't state.of.the.art recording studios, do we?

The piece itself, it very haunting and artistic. Some also mentioned soundtrack. I could see that.

Outstanding job. And WELCOME.

Very effective use of synths, and the sounds you use are terrific. There is a great atmosphere throughout the track, and I like the arrangement. The intro works very well, and the use of rhythm is effective. Very cool. I look forward to hearing more of your music. Welcome to MacJams. Peace.
