Orwellian-Concept-Scrum
Gun shot would to the cerebral cortex. What's going on here? Am I in someone's living room in England? How did I get there? I am from the prairie land of the US. Help me.

Is it grunge or Orwellian-Concept-Scrum?

The master ..

.. of synthy grittiness strikes again! Very groovy too .. nice variations and effective use of Caroline's post.

My favorite was the deep bass bass riff and the way the second slightly higher bass part worked offset to it...sweet .. and the spacier synths backing the main poetry section worked very well too.

Not sure about all the arcing and cricket FX .. enjoyable as they are.

Ye
the synth bass riff is great so as the synths.. The beat could be more agressive... nice song..

This is just amazing.
Excellent sense of song structure and a very well balanced EQ and stereo spectrum. I Particularly like the low bass frequencies that appear around 3/4. The only thing I would suggest is to bring out the lyrics of the poem segment better either through EQ or simply gain.

Lots going on in this..... I really dig it! I've been to places where calling someone a punk would get you punked......... Ouch! This is tight and has loads of depth and a strong drive that holds your interest! Kudos breezer, nice job!

first off
it would seem you Do do punk...heh.
i like this for several reasons. first, with all the CBGB punk tunes going on around here, it seems yours takes it in a different direction, without straying from a punk music concept. kind of like those killer motorcycles in the tron movie? turning on a dime from mainstream ideas of a "punk" song.
second, you adhere to your own style, and manage to speak in a heavy tone, without the need for distorted guitars. very cool. you take punk in a direction i think all punks could appreciate. it is bold, abusive, and definitely anti-mainstream synth music. very anarchy.
and last, you gathered some great lines from a great spoken word poem, instead of some out of key singing, or a mash of different soundbytes. it turned her poem into something completely new to my ears. i loved this.

Breezer and Caroline - a match made in heaven, snot and all! This is terrific, the "synthy grittiness" as Alan said, is superb. What are you two going to do next??

lengold said 242 days ago
Really

I like it.
It has a poetic nature to the vox that I enjoyed a lot.

Your synths are so gritty! I love the sound.

A sonic trip!

Great job guys!
