Thoughts from the Bull... It's so nice hearing your voice again. I stumbled in on this quite by visit's sake only. Glad I did. The words resonate with irony because they're true. Though I was young in the 70s, I miss that era - it was full of laughter and breezes. My mom was so beautiful, in a different way than today; my dad was strong and quick with wit. This is a song of reflection which anyone who can recall "Mrs. Brown's lovely daughter" or knew how to "Drift away" can recall when music made an important difference to one's life. now, I likes me the punk just fine, but I loves me the folk, too. My own music is right on with the request you make in this piece, so that justifies what I do and makes me feel good. Thanks for the good morning, Caroline. again - a treasure to find you today! England in the 70s I was on vacation in England somewhere in the 70s and saw some actual punks. They seemed to have nothing in common with the art school punks that were paraded on tv. Although, watching "Sid and Nancy", some of them must have been sincere in their completely contrary attitude. In a way I admire their consistency, even if I disagree with the basic premisses. But it probably wasn't fun to live in some parts of England in those days. You express your feelings about it well. And you're also the only person I've ever heard use the term "the naughties". |

Street Punk Where'd you get that picture of my university roommmate? Well, actually his mohawk was red. I had the blue liberty spikes, but he did have the Misfits jacket.
