Even Without The Photo...
....I like it!

You are so cow-punk!! Buckhorn Ramone on guitars.

Excellent!

buckhorn said 250 days ago
More like cow-poop
Joey, Johnny, and Dee Dee don't like to talk about , the "addled mountain folk" branch of the family tree. Thanks for the listen,Amigo.

Thanks Chris
I play guitar like Fred Flintstone, compared to you. But Thanks. The picture is of "Buck Naked" of the Bare Bottom Boys. He had a wacky rockabilly act in San Francisco back in the 80's and 90's, before his untimely demise. Thanks for stoppin by. Regards

lavalamp said 250 days ago
You're a cowboy.....

I couldn't decide if I liked this song or not.

The modulation at the end finally convinced me.

buckhorn said 250 days ago
When
All else fails just, just change keys, thats my motto. I can't decide if I like the song either. Thanks for the listen. Cheers

buckhorn said 250 days ago

with a lasso!

cool tune with a hammering bass and excellent vcls.

now don't tell me that you also recorded this naked.

buckhorn said 250 days ago
Well since
Im out of plastic and plumbers caulk, I'll certainly, not risk soiling my chair. That is a nauseating thought.....The dude above used to play shows wearing only a hat and a well placed plunger(true story) Thanks for the comment.

Nick_Flash said 250 days ago

buckhorn said 249 days ago

you think it fits the challenge, It's not exactly my genre and one never knows. Sorry about the image :)

Im too tough to chew

buckhorn said 248 days ago
not exactly poetry
But I decided to rewrite everything at the last minute because the first version was full of curse words.

I. Spike said 249 days ago
is
Oh my what a pic...
Do wah diddy on lithium and speed...
It's slow, it's fast, it's here. it's there, it's.... all... there... is....

buckhorn said 248 days ago
I know what you mean
It isn't "all that" Gb was getting buggy and wouldn't play the drums 150 bpm, I thought that it sounded ok so I cut the loops from the first part.

bud said 249 days ago
Perfect Nick Lowe/Everly Brothers
on glue. Love it.

buckhorn said 248 days ago
I tried
Huffing some "Elmers" till I discovered horse cartilage, doesn't offer a good buzz. Thanks for running this show. Regards

davisamerica said 249 days ago
right then man
hooky and infectious melody ... very cool ... lol the picture ..d/l!!

buckhorn said 248 days ago
Infectious Hookers
It only has a hook because I couldn't think of any real lyrics. Thanks for the listen. Regards

gregd said 248 days ago
Drag The River
and call me an Original Sinner.
There's a place for you here.
This sings to my little Colorado heart,
and all the cow-punks out that way.
Nice tune.

buckhorn said 248 days ago
My Heroes
Have always been cow punks....Mama don't let your cowboys grow
up to be babies.( Actually heard Willie and Waylon sing it that way in concert.)

rsorensen said 247 days ago

cool tune man. reminds me a little of cake. great job.

buckhorn said 246 days ago
Well
I am into short skirts and long Jackets.....that is very intuitive.

michael2 said 247 days ago
i loved
Buck Naked &the BB boys. reminds me of hanging out on the Haight, going to Nightbreak, maybe finishing up the night with some bike messenger girl and then ditching her before your show the next night at the Mab. Awesome cow punk.

buckhorn said 246 days ago
The Mabuhay
was like the holy grail to my stupid little garage band. You played there? Cool. In retrospect I'm probably lucky never to be part of that scene, I doubt I would have survived it. Thanks for the comment.

I like the sound, amazing!

buckhorn said 240 days ago

Late!
Sorry, traffic was terrible! What a great photo - er, is that you with the big dummy??? Sweet. Nice guitar, and the vox sound a bit like that Mike2 actually ... he musta rubbed of on you... but not on the couch I hope... wah do wah do wah do!

buckhorn said 233 days ago
Good thing
There is plastic on the couch. Unfortunately , the pic aint me. My bum hasn't been that perky in a while, and never been that tan. The dude pictured above is "Buck Naked", he had a rockabilly act in San Francisco way back when, His life ended abruptly when he was murdered in Golden Gate Park. Seems he and his dog were harassing some pigeons and there was a fellow that took murderous umbrage....sad but true.

richardhowardjones said 208 days ago
.
Fun! Shades of Elvis Costello and Buddy Holly.Classic!

buckhorn said 206 days ago
Thanks RHJ
I appreciate a listen from an artist of your quality, I don't mind being compared to those guys at all. Cheers

paddler said 204 days ago
Great structure
like the happy sounds and excellent lyrics - this cheered me up no end.maybe back off on the compression a bit - but thats my only crit.
Cheers! RG

buckhorn said 204 days ago
Thanks RG
Glad you like. I know what you mean about the compression. I guess I try to camouflage my voice, and I mix with my ears which are generally filled with fluid so what sounds good to me probably is a bit harsh to others. Cheers
