Description The main riff in this worries me 'cos it sounds like something or somebody elses and I cannot place it ....so if it turns out its not original well back to the drawing board and I'll take this away....it's basically me having an improv session over the main riff and wondering what would happen if everbody brought percussion!!!

OK its about the ol rehtym and blues from the late
50s ..and I think Ray Charles is someone you like
much .you need a boomin bass with this ..to support
your percussions ..the guitar riff so cool man !!
thnx alot for sharin !!

Nice improv. You have the tone and style of years gone by, and that is refreshing. Good tune and I realy did like the guitar tone.

Ha,I
do seem to be stuck in the seventies and earlier musically
but that's okay,I think up till the seventies, early eighties music was fresh and appealing,to me,then it became ...........odd and recycled....or perhapsI just got old:-)

Good groove
Samba, definitely.

Eh, that guitar is too loud, as is some of the percussion later on. The other instruments are completely overpowered.

Jarvoid said 248 days ago
Hmmmm
you could have a point about the gtr level ,I will remix the levels and this time do it by monitor rather than phones. Cheers for the input.

Sounds like the
Ventures. Still a great tune though.

Beach Blanket Funjammin...
This does wander into "The Ventures" style territory (which gets thumbs-up from me!) Great fun with the wacky percussion and instruments fading in and out, and the guitar-work tying it all together. Oh, and very good guitar playing, might I add. There are some things to work on, specifically the volume levels of the percussion/guitar/instruments should probably be revisited, some things get too loud with respect to others in different spots, and the L/R spread of instruments is sometimes lopsided (a couple places where a lot is going on in my right ear, and almost nothing in my left.)

But this was a lot of fun, as far as a little improv blues-rock riffy thing.

Hmmm I think you
may have put your finger on something that I have never considered before.I do tend to mix using cans, basically for neighbour concerns and mostly 'cos this country is such a lefty pinko subservient nanny state that if you piss somebody off enough the council might take your guitars off of you......well not you ,not your guitars..me and my guitars..but what this means is ,and I hadn't considered it
before is that my left ear only has about 25% if that hearing.......damaged from birth,so obviously I have learned to compensate with ordinary hearing ....I may need to remember this more when using cans and check and recheck more with open monitors........Well spotted and nice one .Thanks for the comments and advice and having found this easter egg I have to go and find out who the Ventures are.......Cheers, See you later.

Bluesamba!
Great guitar playing, it sounds fresh, and you take risks playing your instrument. That's a good thing!
