This makes me feel all warm and fuzzy actually got goose bumps. Whamma lamma dingdong. Now you got me laughing - just too much. David's daughter used to be in school with Stella - and last year at a fund raiser talent show in the auditorium the Dolls came out and tore the house down on practice amps and a crappy PA. hah good work. love the sloppy drums and the whistle before the solo. you've done well capturing the genre for sure. there's a certain type of art we call 'goodbad' at work. Really sloppy lazy drawings but in a good way. When you look at them you can tell they're done buy a great artist. Well I would call this song 'goodbad' as well. That's a compliment by the way lol. Anyway, I definitely like this a lot, but I'm really looking forward to hearing the 'darker' one from you for the challenge. |

When I was in NYC my roommate turned me on to the Dolls and Ramones circa 1985, and I had the chance to hang around CBGBs in "the day" right when I turned 21. This brings tons of good memories back. |

Great track You hit the nail on the head when you say the Dolls make the Stones look like posers. Though you made nods to Buddy with the chords and melody, one of the hardest things to do is put together a 3 chord song that really stands out. You've done that here. Great tune! |
