Haunting Simple and elegant. Altho it does seem almost too bare bones as it progresses, like a demo or sketch. I felt that after the wave sounds entered, a variation could have helped, something to indicate change, evolution, depth. And a synth wash under the arpeggio, slowly changing thru time, might help create more 3-dimensionality, like much of the New Age Ambient music employs. Some of your other tracks can get a little clunky due to the MIDI sounds you choose, but your sound choices in this track all complement the starry field spacial concept you established. I enjoyed the augmented 4th, and then the augmented 5th you use to create suspension, and the haunting quality you achieve. |
but of course is understandable. Musically speaking it is really well done.
