Nice panning I really like the panning on this. It keeps my ears on edge waiting for the next turn. I like your hardware "tricks and slicks" (sounds more like Nascar racing hardware). I agree that the the vocals need to come up. I also think that the song ends sort of abruptly. Other than that this was a great mellow track. |

... i think the vox could come up just a tad. i like them quiet in the mix as it adds a dream quality. they're nice and mellow. oops i had the first comment on this lol didnt know i already commented. nice track. |

Dream feeling . . . Like others have said, I like the ethereal quality to the sound of this song, but the vox are on the quiet side. The brief section where you lash out was an exciting variation in there too; I wish it were longer. You have a knack for mixing your songs in engaging ways. -g |

I Promised Told you I'd come back and comment! Well, yes I agree the vocals could be up a little - you use a great, buttery soft voice for this which fits the tune very well. Honestly it felt too short for me...or maybe just such an abrupt ending. It's such a great romance song, needs to kind of fade out or dwindle or something - as you day-dream off into your lover's eyes... I'm curious as to why you ended it as you did. Great kind of piano-bar, lounge act feel to it. (and then the lead guitarist just can't stand it anymore and breaks into his rock/punk bit) The mix is great I think, actually the vocals aren't too bad volume-wise. It fits with the tune. Nice song. I like it! |
