Description Recorded live with a Zoom H2 during the 040908 Mornings in Sonoma Show on KSVY 91.3 FM.
Thisis The Tiler (Bill Furner) playing his song with John Burdick sitting in on guitar, Master guitar builder Steve Klein on vox and me playing the ol mixing board table top percussion. What a riot. You can hear Tiler break up a couple of times during this improv version of The Hypnotist.

enjoy! and thanks again Tiler!

Sadly, I must say, this day was the only day where both servers went down at the station...nothing was recorded off the board. I have a few recordings from the H2 that now I think need to be posted.

Guess that means ol' T2 will just have to come back and do it again.

Great Big Fun
HAH! Lotsa fun had... I'll be back for more when the dust settles and you get the soundboard cuts up here. Whenever I hear great acoustic jamming and a half-spoken or at least narrative style vox, I think of Leo Kottke's old album, "Great Big Boy." This, like that, connects with charm and charisma in both the music (fine mixer-top percussion included!) and Steve's fine vocal projection.

Steve's voice reminds me of

Big Fun
Looks like your last comment got cut off there Bob...Guess I'll use my imagination. The board cuts should be awesome, everything always sounds great direct, much bigger than these recordings. I'm looking forward to hearing them myself.

Slimmie...ya, we had a great time. If you recall, TT was the first live guest on Virtual Garage, so I thought it only fitting to bring him back on the new show. Great that you stopped in for a listen!

Tiler's CD
You know, Mr. Bill left me a lovely CD of his music as well. I hadn't seen it around for sale...but I should have asked him. Very nice, easy listening, and well produced.

A Great Upload
To use a phrase (probably first coined in San Fran), "It's A Happening!"

I was at a fund raiser last night where singer, songwriter John Doe's old, beat up, grey hard-shell guitar case was auctioned. The auctioneer said that John was a popular artist with the "underground" music scene.

I thought of you right away, Blaine. You are the definitely one of the forefathers of the digital underground music scene.

Keep up the great work!

Way to jam, fellas!

This one's a keepsake for my iPod.

Tiler was great...
He plays so well live, doesn't seem to mind an audience at all, a true performer. He's going to have to come back and do it again. That was the only day that the servers went down, and they both went down an hour before the show, so none of it got recorded off the board. I have a few choice clips nabbed from my H2...that and memory, and that's all there is.

Did you see the new posts...Zetes live last week. Bi coastal jam. Awesome.
