Description Asteroid/ Featuring (iG.STUDiO)
Ilya has added the perfect interplay between his own two tracks on his EWI (Electric wind instrument) that needs much of your attention as you listen to this space ride /ASTEROID. Ilya also interacts real nice with the other elements inside the tune. He is extraordinary with his placement of notes. He shows you here, bringing this tune all together, culminating in another super, interesting, collaboration.
Thank you Ilya. Thank you much!
Here is more Ilya stuff.

This is SO INTERESTING! Fascinating bunch of sounds that somehow pull together very fluidly. VERY cool! Congrats to you both - thanks

Hi Karen
Be sure and check out Ilyas music here at MJs or at his link.
He is quite a talent.
I promise all my music isn't as off the wall as 'Asteroid' and 'Ice Tunnel...'.... I have Many sides. But when I open up my self up, and let a project take on its own life, this is the way it comes out.
Now I'm trying to figure ut what that means about me.
Anyway
Thank you for being 'firsties' as they say!
You support means much.
peace

Like leaving a space for a solo from Ilya.
You just drop it in and and you're all set...
Thanks again.

Blue
Love the Mile Davis blues like jamming. Great stuff

Thanks
Bill

timothy devine said 267 days ago
hey man
Yes.
I must admit i am miles influenced for sure.
I love that period in Miles career 70'sish and greats like corea and Jarrett and McClaughlin etc would be jammin all together with the likes of shorter and holland or carter, man, what all stars.
I listened to a lot of that in 'the day',... and it creeps out of me at night.
anyway i'm off here on a roll....
thanks for stopping in and commenting. Your words mean much.

Nice...
...is that a Strat? Really nice, super clear tone, tasty...cool piece...nice collab...

timothy devine said 267 days ago
Hi Bob
Yes Stratocaster around 73 or 74 ish. Its my main ax. I am looking for Gibson but, $$$.
Thanks for giving a listen. Its not the kind of music that will grab and hold everybody's attention.
Your visits are very appreciated.
peace

Very cool
This is a terrific track, with excellent sounds, and an amazing mix. I started listening on my crappy computer speakers and immediately realized I was selling the song short! So on with the phones and...Wow! The panning, mixing and the brilliant placement in space of the different elements is outstanding. This is a trip. Love the dynamics and the build up and drop off around 3:30 when the keys give way to the guitar. Very impressive. Excellent track. Nicely done to both of you. Kudos. Peace.

timothy devine said 267 days ago
Wow
What a rave review.
I put a lot of time in to the mix and i guess it pays off.
I mixed and tweaked so much i stopped hearing the song and had to shelve it for a few days.
But Its nice to get your input so i can rest assure i am not crazy.
Thanks
tim

wonderful
As Karen says, fascinating sounds, and great fluidity! I love the free-jam feel. Wonderful work all around! I'm impressed.

right then
ig and timothy ... way cool collab ... the spaciousness is wonderful .. way, way cool!

IbotenicParadigm said 266 days ago
Great Stuff!
I really like how this seems to be on the verge of falling apart, but always keeps it together! There are some definite moments there where it sounds the Dead between songs (not the sounds, but their sort of touch-and-go improv attitude). That EWI sounds very fine, too. Beautiful.

timothy devine said 266 days ago
Hey thanks
I here The Dead in there too. Like when they are hanging on for Jerry's nod to go to the next tune. Is that what you mean. Grooving in some spacy jam like in-between time and space. Cool.
I really think they had some great inspired moments. I like the Early Dead up to 'Terrapin'.
Anyway thanks for your enthusiasm tword the recording.
peace

Great job on this one Tim and Ilya. A really interesting piece of "outside the box" music! A really relaxing, interesting listen - classy "EWI" playing from Ilya, and Tim, your tracks are very cool indeed.

Very good post!

btw Tim - have you heard MacAudion's take on "Forbidden" ;)
