Description This is a "rule" breaking bed of strangeness that I thought I'd throw up on here for everyone who is interested in laying anything on top of this "abomination" for sh*ts & giggles! (Caution: use of loopage!) There's some cool pieces to this that could be utilized..... Anyhow, Have at her.

why your guitar not there >??

Axgrinder said 233 days ago
The "Grinding" is yet to come!
I thought I'd see if anyone wanted to play with this first. Then I planned to resubmit with the guitar tracks, just for fun. It would be cool to see what others might do with this one, no? I know I haven't caught up on the comments, in fact I'm heading your way as right now.... Thanks for the comment bro.

interesting so far. what really rocks above anything else here, is the drums. they are above and beyond

Axgrinder said 233 days ago
Thanks Vic!
Yeah, the drums came out pretty good, I doubled them up/split the channels
L & R and added some ozone preset to one of them? This was pretty spontaneous, so.... I'll toss some guitars on it once I get some more + feedback!
I'm on my way over now,

Ax

Thanks bro!
I'm glad yo dig it. I wasn't to sure how it was going to be received, but then you never really know! I'm tossing some 6 string salad on top here shortly to see If I can make it stick. Thanks again for stopping by Kenta.

Cool
A very interesting soundbed, for sure. Honestly, my first thought is that I would like to hear what you would do with it! I can imagine some very dramatic guitar riffage on top of this. Good stuff. Nicely done. Peace.

no one told me
rules? there's rules? oh crap no one ever told me that.. lol. it has some nice sounds. at points it sort of has a haunted house feel which is cool. you could probably take that feeling and develop more around that if you wanted. the drums are great tho at times it feels like they over power the song a tad, i agree it'd be nice to hear some heavy guitar over this.

Axgrinder said 231 days ago
No rules, R-U-L-E-S!
Thanks 4 your sincere comment friend. I'll be by to check out what you've got on the burner!

Best 2 U,

hate that
i hate when it double posts a comment. it has been doing it to me a lot lately lol makes my songs look like they've had more feedback than they have :/

Axgrinder said 225 days ago
So?
what's wrong with that? Lol......

Wow!
Gene Kruper eat your heart out... great drums and all, but way out of my league, cheers M

I did not forget my friend.....
Sorry Maurice, I've been having some real "net" technical trauma as of late and it's been pretty tough just getting on here. I owe you a listen or two! thanks for the kind words bro....

In my opinion...
A loop is just another instrument. It takes an artist to make that instrument sound cool! This sounds cool!

Axgrinder said 231 days ago
I not only honor your opinion....
I totally agree, unlike many unfortunately! Thanks for the visit and the compliment.

Ahhh......
So THIS is the drum track you wanted me to hear? Yes, an excellent soundbed for some metallic guitar chops and riffing....Allen Dean or Chris Cihon could work wonders with this. COOL!

Be well!

I love it....can I take a stab at throwing some guitar at it?....this is very wierd and out there...but then again so am I.
Very creative man! You have a remarkable imagination.....nice to see someone who can think out of the box....
I am dying to hear how you play over it!

Axgrinder said 231 days ago
But of course you can....
It would be an honor! Would you like the track files? Or, can you work with the MP3? I shall at least drop you the AIF. eh? So many (?) I would really like to hear what you'll pour on top of this one! I have no idea what to lay down on it, but I'm sure I'll figure out something that will work! Thanks for the compliment, oh great and powerful one!

Behave,

Ax

Sound File
I am not sure if I am responding to the correct comment as I mistakenly responded to Mr Wark`s.......... as I just wanted to comment on your song......I guess it would be too much to ask that the whole Macjams site be deleted and set up again so I can correct my error...or reverse it.... go back in time if you will
Mr Axe sir if it would be alright with you I would like the AIFF, but I can work with the mp3....already wrote what I am going to play....I just need to convince my fingers to comply with what is swirling around in my brain. I`ll get spanking and let you hear it on the weekend

Axgrinder said 231 days ago
Mr. Goodman, sir....
This is mike, please stop sending me the grinder's comment's already! Lol....

I sent you the AIFF. via Pando! They sent me a cop, so I'm sure you must have got it.... If not, drop me a line at macdoglan@gmail.com and I shall try again. Hope you have fun with it!

Later on,

Ax

Axgrinder said 231 days ago
Indeed it is....
I thought this one would be fun to share with the MJ's (m)asses, or should I have dropped the (m)? Lol... Go ahead and play with it if you wish. Let me know if you want the track files. Thanks for your input brother and the warm compliment!

bro, you there and brought back the t-shirt! (that's a compliment, btw)
this is awesome!
an absolutely brilliant usage of loops and effects!
i am excited to hear what other macjammers bring forth on this one.
way cool, alvin!

on a personal note, i love the artwork you come up with for your avatar and songs. i must admit i periodically pop in and see what new piece you have posted. i assume you do most of it yourself? wonderful!

Faelin old chap....
I'm sorry for failin to reply sooner my friend! my connection is purdy weak!!! Download is around 750kbs. Upload is around 60kbs, that is providing I'm getting any signal at all? it's the "upload' speed, or lack there of, that really hurts! Thanks for the kind words as always. I believe that you are one of the very first people I met on here, if I'm not mistaken? Trust me, it happens.....

This drum track is great! If only i had JamLab so I could add some metal guitar over this, the drums are perfect. Great job making these drums a song all by themselves!

noises you make. How do you get that drum sound? I thought it would suit your guitar playing...
