Description I was foolin' around with the vocoder (voice box) and some new drum beats in logic and I came up with this. I don't know if the genre fits but it's not really techno so I figured it would be more along the lines of Electropop.

This is incomplete. The part at the end is meant to roll into a chorus/verse rotation, I just needed some feedback to see if I was in the right direction.

Let me know what you think about this one and what direction I should take. I want to finish this soon!

Hope you enjoy, thanks in advance for comments!

COOL!
I am listening to your song at 2 AM, coming back from the club where my ears were tortured with tuneless heavy beats.... this is better than some of those rhythm-heavy and tuneless hiphops they play in the club. nice one, dude!

Re: Leon
Thanks for the comments here, I'm glad you liked this one. Hopefully I can add some more and tweak some things to make it better. Thanks again!

do you
This is really cool just as it is. I don't know anything about vocoders (except they're obviously a neat toy!), but I was thinking that if the "do you / want to" voice could be varied a bit, using different tones/notes it might add interest. I love the drumming and the song generally. You can't lose with this, whatever you do with it - thanks!

Re: Magna
Thanks for listening Magnatone, I'll look into varying the tone and notes in the vocoder. I'll try and add some higher notes, although I don't know if it'll work that well since the manual said stick with frequencies around the original sound clip (my voice is kinda low - ha). Maybe I can add a changing tone to make it sound a bit different throughout the song.

Hopefully when I tweak this and add more it'll get better.

Potential!
Yeah, definitely keep going! I agree with magnatone about varying the vocoder notes a bit. Funny thing about the drums though... When the song began, the beat struck me as some kind of corny inspirational 90's thing. But when everything else strolled in, your atmosphere came together and felt more upbeat. Maybe it was just me. I want to hear the rest!

Re: Zagar
Thanks for the listen Matt, I'll definitely look into changing around the vocoder a bit. Also I'll look at tweaking the drums a bit in the beginning to catch a bit more interest. I've been trying to learn as much as I can on drums as it's one of my weak points so thanks for the comment. Thanks for the listen, as always!
