hopelessly lost in the music adrift, caught in a great gail*, tossed on the sea of wishes... this is wonderful! I love the way this builds and carries me along. Very well balanced and compelling. What the heck? So you are writing backing beautiful orchestration for your beautiful piano music now? I imagine you will tell us you have taken up skydiving next. ttfn, Drakonis * yes, intentional misspelling for maximal pun effect. |

Hopeless??? Hardly! This is just beautiful and lies so smoothly in the mid-range of the keyboard. The little figure you start with is wonderfully played throughout and it drives the composition. New Age, smooo-Age. It works, and that's what counts. Great playing, too. (Small suggestion: drop the treble way down on your strings and you'll get a bit mellower sound from them.) Peace. Paul |

beautiful and serene, yet with motion.. ..a lovely spell of tranquility. I love the echoing effect, which adds to the softness of this piece. Thank you for sharing. :) |

This is a gift from God to you and on to us Gail You are bless with a marvelous talent dear Gail. Every time I hear one of your pieces I am awe struck by the simplicity and beauty of it. This one may be you finest yet, at least that I have heard. And it is marvelous indeed. A fine balance between the piano and you background instrumentation that is done with finesse and reserve that only come from a feeling inside you. Absolutely wonderful Gail, wonderful. Thank you for giving us this gift. Ed |

What can I say... that I haven't said before? A lovely, mellow, contemplative piece. Gail. It fits in the Piano genre just fine, because it's reach is broader than just New Age. ;) --- Joe |

sounds good nice piano playing. just off work n its 730 am so my mind isn't awake for much of critiqing, but it seems like the volume levels and everything all fit together well and fit what you were going for. |

New age for an old mind in my case. I have to start reading the description first. I was thinking.....goodlord this is the longest intro I've ever heard and waited till the very end for you to bust into song. I do have to say though that I thoroughly enjoyed it....just beautiful Gail. Does this mean that I'm now new age? |

Live I continue to enjoy your live piano playing. The synthetic strings in the background add just enough atmosphere to this very new agey piece. Thanks Bill |

attempt? I would call it a grand success! My wife just said she liked this too. You created a beautiful world of sound once again. She plays, she sings, she orchestrates! Thanks you for sharing this with us. peace, chip |

well now... that was lovely. I haven't listened to new age music in quite some time but that seemed to have much more emotion than I remember that genre usually had. good job, thanks for sharing, i liked the harp. |

Sorry I didn't get to this sooner because it has that usual gail artistry. Love how you add the strings and then come in with the reflective new age piano sound. Like the added sound effects. as well like the swishing etc. Terrific gail A real macjams winner, such a delight to hear, plus nice ending! Way To Go! Thanks for adding SO much artistry here at Macjams ! It is things like this that really keep MJ alive and kickin ! |

As Mark says, ...you have a great touch on the piano. I don't think it is always appreciated how big a difference that makes. Some things that try to be in the 'New Age' realm sometimes sound to me like endlessly arpeggiating chords. This has real human heart all through... no note sounds unfelt or unconsidered... In the recorded realm, I agree with Paul in that I don't think the strings are in the same league, sonically, with the piano. That's just a hardware/software thing, and the only nit I can pick. Very neat. Ed |

now I see why drakonis recommended I keep an ear out for your music and now I see why. This piece is beautiful - the orchestration is just perfectly balanced in the background and doesn't detract from the simple piano melody at all. it really does just wrap itself around you. Thank you for sharing this! |
