Description Don't say you love me when you won't, don't say you need me when you don't. That pretty much tells the story. Bring back my records and my extra set of car keys!

Having fun in my basement. I played all this stuff and after I was through it had a McCartney "1985" feel to me so I went with it.

Monkberry or not, it's great, Boss.
Before I saw Feter's comment, the rhythm immeditaely had me thinking of "Monkberry Moon Delight," a song I dig from the most underrated McCartney album IMHO.

When I heard this (elsewhere) for the first time I didn't have much to say about the music itself other than heaping praise on it. This time I'll add thatthi tune is just tight as can be. And I hope you somehow, someday are richly rewarded for your music.

Hmmm
It's hard to nail down a favorite part of this song for me. I really dig the energy and really get the McCartney vibe, definitely. Your voice reminds me of Billy Joel quite a bit on this, too. The only thing I'd like to hear is your voice a little more upfront in the mix, but otherwise this is pretty dead on.

I really love the way you smack those keys and the great loose way you sing this.

Funny...
That you mention McCartney's "1985" because it's one of my favorite Wings tunes (and I'm not a huge fan). This is a very cool song. I like your vocals, lyrics and the band behind.

repressed emotion...
I love the vocal performance... among the other attributes of this song... the angst is right on the surface... it's like the emotional dam is breached, and now it just washes over...

still sounds like early stones to me.....what a drag it getting old......
Great stuff man.

Polka Reggae beat
Original sounding tune, certainly hear the beatles influence. Continued excellent work. Cheers

Surprising Direction
Your vocal work is totally the super high quality that I've come to expect any time I see your name on a song, but I'm very surprised at the production of this work. Stylistically, I think it's very consistent with your other songs, but also seems more inventive and playful in the arrangement. It has an almost Carnival atmosphere around it (I think it's the piano and organ, but can't say for sure). Really great song though, I like where you took this idea.

Yup!
McCartney feel is right on... Did you play the drums? because they are pretty rockin'! Interesting vocal placement in the mix. The whole thing is sort of loosey-goosey in a good way.

Very nice song man. The style and rhythm has a middle-eastern touch. Great piece of work man... Thanks a lot for sharing!
