Outstanding work! Well that just melted me into a nicely satiated little puddle goodness! This one will definitely work the magic of replay or is it, that replay will work the magic of this piece. Pure sweetness. Nice warm qualities throughout and yet, a hunting feeling of having been to such a place before. Yummy guitar work! Very nice vocals! The whole of the composition is soooo refreshing to my system. Nice, indeed! Thanks for sharing this, David. And thanks for the free grab, too! Dion |

This is moody in a wonderful way, with the opening simplicity and then the added voice and the slow build up... your voice sounds excellent on this as does the guitar and the whole arrangement. Love where the racy drum comes in.... I think this is your best to date, mainly due to the care you've taken in the arrangement and mix.... excellent song and performance, regards M |

Top post David! Lovely acoustic sound for starters David. Also the vocal is really classy - nicely recorded and beautifully sung - although I'd have liked to hear "Singing off-key" with a bum note in it :) String parts work really well also. Lyrics good! Mix wise, it's (nearly) all good - the far left guitar towards the end is panned a little too far for my taste. May work better if you started it out closer to centre and move it further left when the strings come in. David, you've made huge progress over the last year. This is an excellent post. Neil |

All killer , no filler You just are on such a roll David. Another great mix and a wonderful restrained vocal - reminds me a little of INXS. The whole mood of this isclose and moody - great use of reverb. Catchy and smartly arranged (the piano and string part at the end at great, in fact the whole end section is unexpected and really well written) - total pro, dont you know. steve |

I love your voice You could sing the phone book and it would sound good. Fortunately, you write absorbing and heartfelt lyrics, which makes it all great. :-) Such quality production, too. The addition of the strings makes it even more touching. |

great tune David acoustics and electrics played and sounding pretty amazing. as well as the vocals. heck, the whole composition is great. the ending section is pretty epic. (kind of reminds me of how supertramp ended their title song from their first album creating a BIG finish) It's more of a headphone thing, but near the end I would of brought in the right sided acoustic earlier to balance the left acoustic. But, it's such a minor detail. Totally awesome track! |

The Total Package! Dave, You really are quite a producer. This song has its own legs, but your production here is just super. the gentle mix of orchestral, the piano, the vocals, and I really like the ending. I agree with Mark, whenever a real CD is available, I am plunking down real $$ for your stuff (I can play bass and backup guitar and sing in the tour band too ;-> ) I am never disappointed by one of your posts, on the contrary, they grab and hold you all the way through. The first instinct is to play them again. Thank you again, Stephen |

I don't care how cool a production is... There has to be some cool song-ness to hang it on. This is some really awesome song-ness, indeed. Change-ups and shifts and neat production touches, but it never loses the heart of the song. And I really like this song. I was just thinking about a time in my life rather like this, so maybe it's just catching me at a good time, but whatever the reason, I really like this. Ed |

a gentle scream if there is any... Man, you know how to create an atmosphere and gradually fill into it.... the drama of a simple guitar then slowly layered with your gentle vocals and harmonies then other instruments pouring in... Plaintive and haunting effect.... lovely voice as always.... |

Excellent! Your vocals are exceptional on this and the mix sounds very nicely balanced (I would tend to agree with Neil on the panning) but that aside (and only very minor in any case) I think this one of your best productions and a great song. We really do need a CD from you... Peter |

Screaming This song is really played and sung well. I like the octave higher back-up vocal. Just when you think this song is finishing it really kicks in. I really enjoyed it. Great job! chip |

Great lyrics I'm also loving that guitar tone. What kind of guitar is that? It's well played and resonates beautifully. Cool frantic guitar break. |

Strong I admire how dynamically you arranged this song. Your use of instruments is very effective. Is that a cello I hear? The combination of the sounds you called upon create an undeniable atmosphere. It seems like you are really finding your voice, making music with confidence and purpose. There's a strength in this song, which might be considered ironic, given the lyrics. On the other hand, surrender and acknowledgment are ingredients out of which strength is born... Typically high level music from you, David. Congratulations on this success. |

What a beautiful arrangement How do you continue to roll out these pro-sounding gems one after another? Great art David, so expressive and skillfully assembled. And just when I think 'wow, this is amazing' the drums kick in and you take it up another notch. Absolutely brilliant. Many thanks, Doug |

Tried to email but for some reason it is disabled... So I'll post here. I have been listening to many of your tracks very carefully as I believe I can learn a WHOLE BUNCH from the way you pull things together and make some amazing music. I just listened again to Screaming in my Bose headphones. My wife has been using them. I put them on and cranked this track and oh wow... simply oh wow... There is stuff working in this track that I didn't hear the first few times with either speakers or lousy headphones. This is really good stuff! I hope you will keep posting as this stuff is really great. I've got these tracks at 5 stars on the ipod! Thanks again for checking out my efforts. I hope I can continue to improve. In my opinion, you don't have much room left! I mean that in good way! Your stuff is so amazingly great I'd pay gladly CD prices for it! Thanks again! |

tsada unmistakably dajama music. You got style mate. That what makes you special. |

this sounds so good, i wish i could get acoustic guitars to sound like that. and this is a really nice song. self degradation or just good times? you can only tell for sure when you're by yourself. love that line about "singing off key and rolling around on the floor." i have some live videos that will attest to that. final note, great solo. excellent job.
