Great sound!
I love this! Great melody and feeling in your playing... Z what I like about your playing is that while you are a terrific shredder you music is more about melody and style than speed and flair... you really give the music a chance to breathe. Thought there was a timing issue at the 3/4 mark... then realized the download was playing in itunes... heheh.

punchy and brass balls all the way. excellent playing and very pro sounding throughout!

Fantastic
This is snaky and filled with opulent tones and a steady driving beat, I like how beauty and not technique is the main factor
Downloaded!

It's really cool...
...hearing how, even though you're a hot guitar player, your whole track is really interesting musically... The drums are great, and I really like the bass, and the chiming background guitar sounds awesome...

Then the lead guitar itself is melodic and perfectly phrased, and utterly musical... This ends up being a piece of music and not just a guitar show-off piece...

There are spots in it where I become aware of the bass, and this makes me wish there was a little more of it in the mix, but as always with things bass-y, it could just be my particular speakers... I really love the mix...

Thanks
Adam, Vic , Tom and Ed. (I'll try and same a little comment space by thanking everyone at once). Ed I really can't afford to keep paying you for your reviews. The bass can be tricky, in my car it booms so there always is a happy medium and during my level setting sessions I always seem to move the bass levels from day to day.

wow - this, er......ROCKS! great guitar work, the mix is really good to my non-rocker ears. You've got talent to burn - it makes me want to go hear more of you - thanks

fav
Its all things Z. Luv that zeppelin come mahavishnu bed. Delicate with depth on the noodling. And what I dig most, your solos!!! Just the right touch for the jam. melodic to carry you through, but outside enough to amaze. needs keys :-) Just kidding

One of these days
I may just ask you to help out on keys. My problem is I just don't hear what would work as far as keys go in my music, but then I hear your pieces and I realize exactly what works. No kidding.

upbeat
it is.....nice thick tone on this one........i know what u mean about the bass mixing...its always a trip....and having listeners with diffrent eq settings on whatever they use can drive anyone batty...hehheh .but sounds kool on my side.....!

Z293 said 296 days ago
Thanks Mcboy
Yeah, bass can be a trip and some songs just demand a loud fat bass but this was meant to support. When you mix over different systems is when the fun really begins... to drive you batty.

Man...
...those Ibanez's just rock to heaven, don't they? Clear/shred/in-btwn. Put one in some extremely capable hands (ie: yours) and it's time to just lay back and take off...thanks for the trip, man...

If it
wasn't a deliberate change in tempo, it sure felt that way and worked really well for me; cool bridge on the lead in there.
