Description For years you've said you were gonna leave me ... and I was afraid you would.
But I'm stronger now and no longer afraid you are gonna leave ... I'm afraid you're gonna stay.
Get your stuff ... and pack your threats away ... just leave already.

And one more thing ... Don't Let The Screen Door Hit You ... on your way out.

Funkalicious
Great description, been there in my time, made my chuckle.
Another Bill Brophy master production and definite download. Thanks.
Cheers
Len

Len, Thanks
'preciate the visit and the download and the comments. It's just a fun little number that I hope gets "the rear in gear" so to speak.

had me
thumpin. There was a recurring deja vu for me with this track. Sumthin about the progression and/or those wild ass synth sounds that was stirrin my juices (in a good way). Maybe just the song title ...lol

dem drums were HUGE

Had fun putting it together
and I'm glad you liked it. Nothing in this song should come as a major shock to any listener. Some pretty standard structure and some fairly standard tricks with the lead guitar tracks. Basic variations on the main theme. Still it is all in the groove for me. Kinda like the old American Bandstand Rate a Record Segment where the kids would say "It has a good beat ... I give it an 85"

Awesomely funky
You really know how to put sounds together. This is great!

Thanks for the visit
I was good at building models when I was a kid too, except for the fact that some of them came out funky!

Love the title
and love the groove. Man, you know how to get a body moving (even if I'm still sitting down!) and you really know how to do drums. Great sounds throughout. That bass sound is terrific too. The guitar is sweet, and the arrangement is excellent. Lovely. NIcely done. Peace.

Thank YOU!
I try and I'm glad you think the effort on this one paid off.

This is
what you get when David Byrne and Peter Gabriel accidentally get caught in a teleport machine (circa The Fly starring Jeff Goldblum) and Pevid Byrbriel comes out on the other side, jammin. But seriously, how cool would this be with those two dudes on some vocals?

announcer said 304 days ago
You got a number?
If you have their phone numbers, I'm sure we could find someone to work on the lyrics so they could sing it :)

Really enjoyable funk:)

I can see those chickens weavin and bouncin their heads while Sanford is selling his used furniture with his son hounding him:)

Thanks for sharing!

About Sanford
Ya, I can hear that. Seems like a lot of funky stuff does sound like it came from that era. It might date me, but I still dig it. ;)
