This is the only piece I have ever played for my wife, she loved it.
By the way I love it, too.

Bouree
Everything sounds musical and lovely, but I think I like the tongue clicks best!

that80sboy said 312 days ago
awesome....
....as always!

BossHook said 311 days ago
The tone of your vocals here
remind me of the chase scenes from Butch Cassiday and the Sundance Kid movie. There is almost a Burt Bachrach quality to this arrangement, even though it is still steeped in its own classic glory. Great vocals to go with a cool percussion arrangement and that bass back there is walking like a monster!

Barretok said 311 days ago
Bouree...
I've always loved this piece. The first time I heard it was by Jethro Tull.
I love the way you've worked it with that intro like a horseman coming into town and then all the percussion working their way. Lovely vocals as usual.

Nice take ...
on the classic. I'm a BIG fan of Bach and this is by far one of the most original renditions I've heard.

Nice Job.

This makes me Smile...
Lovely & Great (!) Tune.....LOVE IT :)

magically delightful
Andreas, I love your whimsy. What a great idea, and very beautifully executed. You have a remarkably versatile voice (and a syncopated tongue!) and you've made a sweet piece by Bach into something very fun and whimsical... and you stopped yourself from going overboard and making it overly silly, it is perfectly fun.

Very Clever
as the guy above me said. Sounds very playful and serious at the same time.

MIRx said 311 days ago
I didn't really expect
the bass, drums and percussions to come in, that was brilliant, my friend! Still have a big big smile printed on my face, what a great fun to this! Delicious contrappunto!

in my heart this little ditty, I used to play Ian Anderson's version till the sun came up, but now it will be your version, the Jazzy bass and drums are absolutely fab...Wonderful...

Hahaha...
...I was trying to decide on posting Bourree or Canarios (Sanz)...this is a tough act to follow...very, very cool...I love this tune...I love this interpretation...

sloparts said 311 days ago
Oh this is wonderful Andreas
You are bringing classical music to a whole new audience with this kind of work. And you do your craft so very well Maestro Andreas, it is hard to put into words how brilliant this piece is.

The combination of your excellent vocals and the tongue clicks, with the more modern sounds of the bass and drums is an beautiful combination. Thank you for sharing this with us my friend.
Be well and continue to astound us with this work of yours.

One of
the 1st classical pieces I ever learned on guitar.Amazing version.Have you heard Tenacious D(w/Jack Black)do it? "This is Bach and it rocks..."

jiguma said 311 days ago
Dees basst ma!
Es tut mir Leid Andreas aber ich weiss kein mehr Bairisch. Or a real lot of German for that matter ;)

Great post - I first heard Bouree on Jethro Tull's "Living in the Past" and have always enjoyed it in many different interpretations - this being one of the more original. Well recorded and well sung and played. Ich gratuliere dich!

Just great song Sir, this is really great version of an old favorite tune. What a great control of your vocal?

I'll try to check the rest of your list as soon as I can.

The Maestro is also a cool cat. How did you get the tap
dancing horse in the studio. Awesome tune, probably the only baroque tune I'll ever fav, Regards

Terrific singing. Wow, like that classical jazz style!

A great listen here at MJ!

This kind of music should be heard on the radio more often.
