I LIKE it! Just simply a great song! And you knocked it out before work? Very impressive. Was this on the clavinova you found on the side of the road?? (LOL LOL) |

dig it It sounds almost like electro punk. Nice ruff production, voice is placed just right, in the middle of all that sweet terror. Ciao! Marc |

Numan Yeah I thought of him as soon as it started playing before I read that. Very very cool. Excellent work with the synths. |

another great track this one made me go dig up my old Cars CDs. Great synth work. You have a real knack for building a wall of sound that's not too over the top. I'd love to do a collab with you someday. |

Cars .. .. that's what I was thinking ... Cars with fuzz. I'd probably go for a slightly louder vocal too, but it's all academic really. Great song Michael - I must be one of the few people that actually liked Gary Numan (and who's willing to stand up proud and admit it: "my names Neil and I - ahem - liked Gary Numan" :) I also really liked the Cars so it's a winner from all angles for me. Top post, Neil |

How weird I've being listening to 'Replicas' a lot recently, and the keys on this are very 'Do you need the service'. Your voice is of course totally different, great harmonies, and gives this a really dreamy feel |

I love wire/colin newman ...not so keen on gary numan although i heard a couple of his old tunes on a cover cd of a magazine recently (uncut i think or mojo) anyway...very good...nice and poppy me and cat might do a cover of eardrum buzz one day.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zoBXsZh2XZE in fact, one of the incarnations of my band back in the uk was called eardrumm buzz...so you can see how important wire were to us :-) |

Snowball Great sound Michael. It is as you described, Wire and Tubeway Army PLUS a wee bit of DEVO (I hear a borrowed riff from Snowball at the end). Your vocals are so unexpected for this song. Quite honestly, I can hear myself singing this song, but it would have a typical result and therefore, less interesting, because this is what I consider "my style". My vocal style is modeled (poorly) after Numan and Newman and Mothersbaugh and Ocasek, etc. I find your vocals to be more rewarding because they are less robotic and it challenges this genre. My baby took our love And then she rolled it up Rolled it up a hill Like a ball of snow Like a snowball grows Until it gets too big Until she lost control And it rolled back down And it rolled back down And it rolled back down And it rolled back down |

There's a flock of seagulls nesting in my big hair and the world is melting. Great track Michael - the synth line is perfect - excellent use of the pitch wheel. I just heard on the radio that programmers are now referring to the eighties as oldies/classic rock. |

Jammin Michael checkin out my new sound cancelations Headset.... you have an abundance of talents my man great song writing and what a cool sound i love the synth lead that drives the tune up the wall drivin/pushing/pumpin/goodstuff |

at the root.... .... there is a 60's tune here. Synths are a cool choice, dig the fuzzy dice one. the lead one has a nice vintage sound to it as well. I would say vocals really sound different from you. But, the free album that i downloaded had some of that take too it. Cool electro-pop-rock Michael. |

60'S Vibe Great song Michael. Real 60's vibe. Great mix and as always great vocal delivery. Real Beatlesque ending. Moog sound well mixed. Keep at it. |

Fuzzy and clean I have to say the sound is really great here. The song is one of your more excellent ones. Pop-punk. Better than Gary Numan, I must say. This is great- LL |

Cool Thought this was kind of an 80's sound at first, because of the synth, so I looked up Tubeway Army. More punkish than 80's but not as harsh as a lot of the guitar punk I recall. You really channel the rhythm and spirit of this stuff. Vocals are right on and the fuzz contributes to the period feel. Thanks Bill PS I have gotten a lot more sleep since last commenting on one of your tunes :) |

Fine tune Whoooo, great stuff! Very enjoyable. Nice contrast between the busy keyboard line and the smooth harmonised vocals. Impossible to keep still while listening to this. |

The title of the song threw me..... I was expecting a cover!!! Then I listened and was pleasantly surprised. It's an excellent song Michael. A great idea to complete the song before work. You pulled it off nicely. Take care. Paul |

Great song and terrific sound. Love the guitar and that keyboard riff. I went through a bit of a Gary Numan phase, back when I was a young lad. There were a few months there when I thought modern music had reached its peak with Are Friends Electric, and it was all going to be downhill from there. I was wrong, but sometimes I wonder...Nicely done. Peace. |

Very cool... ... synth treatment. The arpeggios at the end are hypnotic. And the vocals were great, you'd never say it was an uncomfortable key for you! |

Interesting sounds I like that guitar/synth/feedback sound you have going throughout the jam. Very well placed lyrics as well. |

You must be joking! If anything you should use this key more often. This is an extraordinary song - as par usual. |

Very sweet! Thanks!
