Man, it's good to be you. Is this a jazz medley called "In Memory of Whipping Back Door Elizabeth Hoochie Koochie?" I understand the one-chord issue Feter questions. Pick a scale and goooooo!!!! I love your chord chops, man I'd give anything (but, evidently, time and practice) to do that! This doesn't get tired at all, the dymanics - emotions, whatever you want to call the placed you went here - just keep it cracking. I clicked on some heart candy for you and will come back for that free DL treat when I have my external (iT library) connected. |

Unreal You have an unbelievable sense of feel... hearing people like you that have mastered this instrument is very inspiring... after 20 odd years of mucking about on guitar I'm going to take some lessons (starting this week) to try and take my playing to the next level... but man, I really don't think I have enough years left to ever get to where you are. Great jam and a great addition to my library! Thanks you! Adam |

Like was said very smooth and fun to listen to, kind of reminds me of a laid back dave brubeck but only guitar. I met his brother Gregg at the front of the last house i had in Corte Madera Ca. Upon him driving up and stopping to talk to him, he had a dollar green corvette at the time with brass muffles. He was listening to his latest album. But the first thing he said is that he grieves every day for his brother. He didn't even know me from adam at the time. He was dating my tenant, he invited me to his house I jammed with him at the back of the house near were Rachel lived in the small cottage my wife and had as a rental. I enjoyed playing a piece called "Little Martha", Duane wrote that. A nice little fingerstyle piece. This tune you play is very nice indeed! Thanks for sharing |

And I'm the middle aged geek who's trying to watch your fingers and then going home to put the guitars on ebay. Very impressive. Cheers Dick |

Structure Just amazing, how you such a substantial composition, constantly inventing something new and interesting to listen to. I'm always impressed by your playing, your feel, your tone, but this feels completely 'composed', in that the structure is so well executed. Great stuff. All tens. |

duane rules I never played guitar but I've always longed to. and if i could it would be with the grace and feel you've demonstrated here. I can totally hear you channeling the noodlings of duane himself (also one of my fav's). very cool |

Mark, do you ever .. .. hit any wrong notes? ;) Lovely playing on a simple theme (simple in structure, but it doesn't sound simple to play). I can't offer any more regarding your amazing playing, but I can offer that you seem to have improved considerably in the quality of the recording on this one. The low signal/high noise situation you usually have is absent for most of the song, although it shows up a little in the quiet passages. Are you playing near a flourescent light or something? Just a thought. Wonderful post! Neil |

1 Man Jam Band Wow, I'll just sit back and let this flow into my head. I loved it. Your skill as a guitarist really shines here. Just speaks to me of what one is currently feeling let out through the guitar. Great track, thanks for posting! |

This is a great tune. I love the guitar. I have met a lot of people who think they are guitar players. It's nice to hear one for real. Thanks. |

Beauty Your guitar is jazz and beauty like the oil painting is made to be felt. Very beautiful pronunciation and adequate play. And, it develops the composition in there is an intonation. |

Fantatsic playing I hear strains of one of my favorite jazz tunes Blusette by Toots Thieleman. Great invention and flow. I really enjoyed this. |

Very cool You are such a melodic and clean player. I don't think I could play anything for 30 seconds without fluffing something (luckily I bury my guitar in tracks so nobody can hear the fluffs - I hope!), and here this is - beautiful. The idea that this would be boring is hilarious. Dynamic, melodic, and rich with ideas. Very nice, my friend. Sorry it took me so long to get here! Peace. |

Loved those bluesy... twists and turns. Wasn't a big fan of the Allmans but like this quite a bit. You've got your own style. Wasn't board for a second. Well done my friend. Best, Charlie |

BrotherB You got it going on,Brings back memories of the Jazz workshop in Boston in the 60's perfect for a nice smoke and glass of wine, |

..or maybe the harmonic feel... what do I know... that recalls something between 'Mountain Jam' and 'Elizabeth Reed'... and reminds ME of Dicky Betts, too...
I always love your playing, Mark. This sounds very nicely recorded to my ears. Clean and full.
I knew I went wrong when I learned that second and third chord...
Nice picture of Duane, too... and playing an SG, if I'm not mistaken...
