dream catcher
very good song, lovely guitar playin,

Ibstrat said 321 days ago
I don't
know if you purposely practiced it or not,but one of the things that I like about your playing is your uncanny ability to articulate notes(or the same note) in different ways.I think that I could listen to you just playing up and down a D chord and not get bored. Also you have a great natural rhythm which just flows with the music.Nice song!

drakonis said 321 days ago
Another dark delicacy
Sweet and brooding... I love the little twists and turns from minor to major, adding extra sparkle here and there. Such talent you have.. In both playing and composition.

I like this one...
You know, when I was a little girl I use to sit by the piano and make small pieces of music. Mostly they were in minor keys.
I long for the day when were making songs together! I know its coming :-)
You making the music and I writing the lyrics. How about that?
Hmmm who will sing?
I will, I will!!! *jumping up and down*
Please say I can...

Lovely idea
Wonderful idea love!
Since I am no good at all writing lyrics.
And since I dig your poems so much.
Who will sing? Let's do it together!

Such a beautiful,...
expression. It has been said the mystical is the source of inspiration for
art and science, you have captured so much!!!

Your playing...
...is where music parts company with mathematics...

You have extremely good time, but it really doesn't matter... this ceases to come across as a made thing or a fashioned thing... it's a thing of flow, entirely of the present moment.

And although one can tell that this is a guitar played through a pick-up, the sound is rich and full and full of spark...

I lose track of time in the middle of these pieces...

Wonderful!
You've got a gift for pickin'! This is really wonderful, kept me listening every moment. Your skill comes shining through. Off to listen to more of you!

Playing
You get a lot of sound out your instrument. Very fine playing here. I enjoyed listening very much.

Thanks

An instant favorite
This song wraps itself around my spine. Nice little trick major-key pause in there... you had me going! I'm going to have to ask you and our friend Tiler how to record acoustic guitar so clearly. Then I'm going to forget it and turn out some overdriven electric music and pretend I never tried to pick up the acoustic again. AARGH!

THANK YOU

Just want to tell you that I've read all the comments above with great delight.

Sooooo Sweeeeeet
Stimulating both intellectually and emotionally. I was taken away to some far away place. I love the mood shift between the minor and major. Your picking technique is so nice - sometimes it sounds like you must have double tracked. Lovely piece.

jiguma said 318 days ago
Where to start?!
Firstly, as everyone else has said, this is wonderful music, and I want to add my voice to those who have mentioned the various aspects of your inimmitable style on the acoustic guitar. For me, what stands out stylistically is the way you use sustain. I totally concur with Ed's comment about mathematics - this is no formulaic concept I'm listening to.

Second, I think Seagull need to use you for promotional purposes :) As you know, I've used a Seagull (cheapo model) for most of my time at MJ, and love the way it records on my style of music. This piece shows that the brand has so much more going for it. Exceptional recorded sound - are you using the on board electrics or your mics?

Thirdly, I can't let it pass that I noticed your conversation with "Mrs Curry". Now, I've been pretty absent here for a while, and I've clearly missed something very important in your life. Please accept (both of you) my very best congratulations. I am very pleased for you Johannes and I suspect Mrs C is a lucky lady.

Best wishes from Oz,
Neil

.
This is the on board electrics .. but note that it is also driven through the Yamaha AG Stomp, which makes a lot to the final sound.

By the way, I think that this guitar is too a cheapo model, it is not mine, borrowing from a friend, sounds good anyway.

And thank you for your congratulations, well I guess most have missed, haven't made much fuzz about it yet :)

Thanks Neil
"Please accept (both of you) my very best congratulations"

thanks Neil! (off to listen to more of your music...could you come to Sweden to play and sing with us??? think it would be fun!)

Great!
What a great guitar sound sir, this is just amazing Acoustical piece and one of the best qualities I've ever heard. Your guitar is full of emotions and its sound is rich and dark which is AWESOME! Downloaded

Thanks a lot for sharing ..
