Outstanding Chops
Loved the mix. Nice compliment of instrumentation. Drums and bass have some fine changes and that lead guitar, she's singing.

Ibstrat said 289 days ago
Glad you
liked the song.It was really just a riff- announcer made it sound great.

Ibstrat said 289 days ago
Thanks
I really like your latest tune.

VicDiesel said 289 days ago
Appropriately aggressive
Interesting. Your original was sort of laidback; this mix brings out a whole different character. Great bass grooving.

Ibstrat said 288 days ago
Announcer
did an amazing job with this. Thanks for checking it out.

Ejh said 289 days ago
I'll be back...
...when someone adds a B3...

And cowbell!

And how can it be a cow song without horns?

Maybe this'll be one of those songs that pops up every week in a new arrangement/mix...

Ed

announcer said 288 days ago
Damn I forgot the bell
I thought of using a cowbell in the drum mix but then I forgot it ... DAMN!!!!!!!!

Ibstrat said 288 days ago
Don't
have a cow man!

Ibstrat said 288 days ago
I like
it the way it is-sort of an implied cow bell.

Ejh said 288 days ago
'Implied cowbell'
There's a concept for ya...

damiengh said 289 days ago
There
There you go a "fait accompli"

Meaning

An accomplished fact; an action which is completed before those affected by it are in a position to query or reverse it.

Ibstrat said 288 days ago
You
called it!

Karmatoburn said 289 days ago
kickin
what a great track. massive props to Announcer for an incredible job of syncing in such phenomenal bass & drums. (No small feat!!!) This just grooves in a big way.

announcer said 288 days ago
Not so hard
Adding the bass and drums to this was not as hard as you might imagine. I probably spent about an hour and a half doing it. The reason it was easy? Because Mark's original track was dead on the beat. I mean ... what you hear is what it was. 120 bpm on the nose. I don't know if he played to a click track on the original or just has a built-in metronome ... but it was right on. The sign of a real pro and a superior player.

Ibstrat said 288 days ago
Replys
are malfunctioning-not going to the right people.Sorry!
OK maybe I did use a click track-but I didn't know what it was,I thought it was some sort of ear vitamin or a device to strengthen my hearing. And I only did it this one time!

announcer said 288 days ago
LOL
Ha ... Don't let me catch you doing it again. You'll go blind if you do it too much.

Ibstrat said 288 days ago
I
agree!

Ibstrat said 287 days ago
Thanks
I'm glad you liked it.I'm still amazed that announcer came up with something that cool in such a short time!

Ibstrat said 283 days ago
No small feat

Cori Ander said 286 days ago
Nice
Nice guitar and bass treatment.
Even drums, but it must have hard to fit in drums to the track afterwards.. at least I think I can hear that..

Ibstrat said 284 days ago
Yea
I don't know how he did that in a little over an hour?!Thanks for checking it out.

Built Ford Tough
Makin' that strat sing! Robben Ford is one of my most fav guitar players and you remind me of him big time on this. Very cool!

Ibstrat said 284 days ago
Being
compared to Robben Ford is a huge compliment!I've been listening to him ever since he played with Tom Scott and the Yellowjackets.I never sat down and stole his licks (like I did with a lot of other people) but I love his playing.I don't really think I am any where near his league but thanks!

bud said 283 days ago
Killer jam
funky strut - and a great collab. Announcer's support is right on the money and your playing is insane.

Ibstrat said 281 days ago

Very cool
Sorry it's taken me so long to get here! But I'm so glad I did get here - this is very cool. The drums and bass work very well. Love that bass sound - it all works very well, complementing the guitar, and framing those nice licks perfectly. Very nicely done. Peace.

Ibstrat said 275 days ago
Thanks
for your comment.Announcer did an amazing job with a pretty basic track.

Pete_NB said 275 days ago
Burning up!
This is top notch, you were feeling the groove huh?

The rhythm guitar has me wanting to dig out my old wah pedal.

Great tune!
