Description This here is a very lo-fi, stripped down song. I considered redoing it and giving it a more professional treatment, but I don't think it would have been nearly as honest.
*This is a less 'squeaky-strings' version than the one that I had up earlier. It's not perfect but definitely less wince-worthy ;) Thanks ajnorth for pointing that out!

i just like the honest
and raw sound of accoustic guitar...and if lyrics are sung by a nice vox like yours then a nice song like this is born...Enjoyed it.

Thank you for listening.

squeaky strings
that's hard to avoid on a acoustic. at times it's just great to hear a bare bones tune. sometimes they don't need more.

the song is nice and true.

rsorensen said 293 days ago
squeaks
yeah truth be told the squeakiness never really bothered me too much until today after I uploaded the first one and they were all I heard! Regardless, what you say is so true. Thanks for checking this out Vic.

Open and honest...
does have it's place.Love the raw and unplugged lo-fi sound.I can hear this transformming about midway into a full out rockin' tune, but still like it for what it is.As always much enjoyed.

Blessings,

I don't mind
squeaky or wince-worthy as long as it's moving.

rsorensen said 292 days ago
:)

rsorensen said 292 days ago

I've ....
.. listened and commented on a few of your tunes tonight ... and think I would like it if you would post the lyrics .... I often like to read along while listening .... (and sometimes even sing along) .... (with respect to some of the other comments .. re: string squeeks) .. some of them could possibly be mixed out ... nr at least maybe be mixed down with some serious fine tuning .. but being the last person to give advice on mixing ... I will shut up now ....

squeaksqueak
Sure I'll post the lyrics for ya thanks for asking. As for the squeaks I'll probably give this mix another once over at some point and try that. Thanks for listening.

This is brilliant man!
A 12th or 13th song on an album. Your voice sounds so excellent on this. I don't think it needs the professional treatment.

You might want to go with a bass track to sing with. I think you'd be surprised to hear how it sounds. Maybe a little strings at the end.

Don't let this one die.
