Description My brother joins me on guitar for this previously entitled 'things as they are' song.We wish y'all the best...and more. I am Bonnie Prince Johnny and I believe in Bar- B - Q.
Lyrics bring the faithful to their knees
get our boys back from the war
we have lived a life that's full
time to find out what it's for
now we've got to where we've gone
take a breath in wonder stare
at the beauty of the con - yes there's really fuck all there

it's a hard life
you bet
it won't be far
one day we'll see
things as they are...

etc......

Rock in a traditional British style, so cool....

bonnieprincejohnny said 298 days ago
Aye.
I couldn't agree more - yet I personally get a European flava from this choon.
Thank U for taking the time to comment ,I wish U aw the best.

Couldn't agree
with you more Johnny Boy. Great song - lovely live feel. Really enjoyed.
Cheers

Keep the faith
We're getting there Lenny - but we haven't got a clue why. I think the live feel on this tune comes from my brother Bonnie Prince Malky Boy's guitar part. He'd never heard it before and just plugged in and jammed- it sounds kinda fresh every time I hear it (despite having listened to it over and over when doing the mix). Aw the best.

an excellent romp
your music is completely unique BP, I'm always happy to see that you've posted a new tune.

Romp.
Nothing beats a good romp with the exception of another good romp. Thanks Pabla.

....digs this very much!....i hear the raw power pop here!!

bonnieprincejohnny said 295 days ago
Powerpop
Powerpop is I guess a fair description of this choon... when I can afford some new strings for my guitar I might do a more 'traditional' take on this, because...
well just because. Thanks 80's chap.

Hi Neighbour
Northampton - well, well this is the closest geographically speaking that I've been to a Macjammer. I've got a faded memory of a big pub there that used to do battle of the bands way back in the eighties but I forget it's name. Thanks for the comment Mr Z, Dave Edmunds is fab.

Nice one
This has great beat, and I love the vocal. That's a terrific driving rhythm, and, I agree, the guitar sounds excellent. Are those bells, or is it the hi-hat I'm hearing in the left headpone? Very cool. Nicely done. Peace.

bonnieprincejohnny said 289 days ago
I guess it's the hi-hat...
last time I remember any Bells I was drinking the stuff - although I prefer a malt, thanks Daj baby - u cool.

nice!
great tune with splashes of the Clash. Not really any tune in particular, maybe just the attitude and the drum/guitar sound. The vocals are what every kid in American tries to do at least in one phase of their career. Spot on tune!

doubly nice...
to hear from yoo. I haven't listened to this tune recently and it was pleasant to recall itand decide that I like it. Aw the best.
