Description This is a song from my band "Theoball", a band that was started by my good friend Angelo. We have recorded it while rehearsing, and done some overdubs afterwords. The quality is not the best, but after some processing, we are very satisfied with the result. The song is written by angelo. I play a acoustic guitar and do the lead vocal. Angelo plays electric, Stig plays the bass, and Fredrik plays Drums.

Pretty much defines 'rough energy'...
...and it has some really neat qualities...

There's no question that it's a rough recording, but the song itself sounds cool, and there are great moments all through it. Your vocal is good, and more 'rock' than folk this time around. The lead, and what seems to be harmonized lead playing is good... The players all seem to be in time and in tune...

I'd love to be able to have the lyrics written down here. It seems like a strong song, with some flavor of Jakob Dylan to it. I like the part where it cuts back to acoustic guitar and kick drum... The chorus is excellent...

With a good recording and a decent mix, this'll be your first hit single...

Talk to Ziti about the Alesis mixer that he's using with his band... I think it's working well without costing a lot of money...

good song
I actually like the lo-fi quality of this. The breaks are cool and you've got yourself a catchy chorus. Nice job.

Wow!
The enigmatic Selters as a hard rocker! Very cool! Maybe not hard rock but more Beatles. It rocks but has a nice vocal and melody also. You know I like it rough so I have no problems with this recording or mix. Sounds energetic, fun and as real as it gets!

What a catchy song!
Like it a lot, I'd really like to hear a full 'studio' recording of this, although its still very listenable. Good job guys.

great song
Really takes you along. I'd be curious to hear this "produced".

I hear a bit
of the pixies in the chord sequence. which is meant as a compliment.

Good song Magnus & co!
A "rough diamond" as they say. Everything seems really good to me, but the recording is probably the weak link. I really like your voice in this context Magnus - it seems to suit you better than the folkier songs you normally do. Love the chord changes and the interesting melody.

This is a really cool song - kudos!!

Great!
It has great energy, and the "live" recording is charming.

I think the energy comes from the rhythmic electric guitar line, but that bass, too. I think it's a good line, and if you do decide to do a more studio-ish recording of it, I'd bring the bass up a little. Your voice is endearing as always.

Band has a very fluid movement. Every instrument follows through in perfect harmony which is exactally how alternative rock should sound! Im lovin' it!

Nice'n'raw
I love how the sound builds from the low fi guitar at the beginning to the panned guitars at the end. The vocal melody is great too really sticks in your head. Mikey likes it!
