looking forward to dementia! Yeah, me too Len! I really like the quiet start and how the song builds up. Nice keys - i always have to fake my piano playing. Real change to your last track. Your voice commands as ever - sounds world weary on this one. Hope Breezie pulls through Len. steve |

Kinks feel The right hand pan on the opening piano threw me a bit, but it all developed nicely from there - nice song Len. Certainly a individual style that works. Neil |

Sorry about your Dog Len That's why I don't have one anymore... it can be too upsetting when they get old. But I like the song in your unique style, great piano on this and all the added sounds. I can empathise with some of your lyrics too LOL, cheers M |

Aging etc. has been on my mind a lot In the last 5 years I've lost a dog, two in-laws, my mother and just spent a week with my 85 year-old dad. Thank heavens he is still sharp but he does have poor eyesight and is deaf in one ear. I can really relate to this song. Well done. |

Sorry to hear about your dog... But as far getting old I'm gonna act a fool when my time comes :D Dementia will give me an excuse to forget what the hell anyone was talking about anyway... After having to take care of my grandparents I gotten a sneak preview of it, so I always have tried to enjoy each day as if it were my last. Cool song I had to adjust in the beginning this being my first time listening to your songs but I understand your art thanks for sharing. Moses |

first off sorry to hear about your dog. i prefer to think of my animals as immortal. second: you are the king of Twisted Cabaret. I love the ideas you have and the execution of your songs is perfect. another great song. |

Strangely good I thought something was wrong with my computers at first -- then your vocal came in, and I realized you were causing it, with your effects. A cool way to start a song. Sorry to hear about your pet. We have two cats and a dog, and I wish they could be with us forever. Your song is mournful, but with a strangely uplifting beat. Reminds me of late Beatles stuff. |

Good Luck Breezie She's a pretty girl and this is, as usual, a wonderful Len song. I love the marching quality, evocative of the inevitable march toward death we all do. There's a lot that's fun in this song, too, just like all your songs, a tongue-in-cheek misery. Happy doldrums. I'm thinking of you and Breezie. My own dog has been very, very sick the last three months. Her body has been destroying its own bone marrow which we didn't realize until she ate five nails because she was so anemic and we've been through months trying to keep her alive long enough to find the right treatment. I really didn't think she was going to make it, but she has pulled through and the medication they're giving her is working right now. I hope that Breezie has a similar happy outcome. I know how worried and sad you must be feeling, Len. They really are like little people and definitely parts of our family, so I really feel for you. Big hug! |

I have a dog like in that picture. Sorry about your dog, seems like dogs just don't last a long time. To bad they can't be like parrots etc. Interesting words here. You had me laughin when you sung some words and started laughing or sarcasm, however. I had a chuckle :) Thanks for sharing! |

Loved it! We also have a four legged family member as well. But he's still in his prime and reeking havoc. Can't wait til he gets old and slows down. Until then I'm going to keep playing this song to him - hopefully it will speed things along. |

Tough Stuff Len my friend, I'm really sorry about Breeze. My heart hurts for you. I read the lyrics and enjoyed the song before I read all the comments. You have a way of working with dark subject matter. I love what you do. God bless your household. |

Bummer... We have two cats that are almost 18 years old. One has been in declining health for the past year... but since she is still happy we just appreciate her while we can. Very sorry to hear about Breeze- I certainly pray things work out for the best. Enjoyed the song- you really have a developed a signature sound that is just perfect for getting your messages and sentiment across. |

bark! A very creative piece here. Full of surprises. Love the way it starts off completely panned to the right. The whole song has a sweet feeling of sloppiness, in a very positive ways, which underlines its distinctive character. I swear I could hear a dog barking :-) -Walt |

Been there I've reached the age where I have to be careful I don't write all of my songs about aging : > Been there, done that with a 13-year-old schnauzer who was the joy of my life. I still miss him every day! When he died I was amazed at the shock of it - and I did the same thing as you: I wrote a song about it - primarily, I think, as a cathartic exercise, but certainly as a memorial to the little guy and a recognition of how incredible the bonding experience was. I love that descending chord sequence, which can be heard as a ominous funeral death march ... or later as a positive life force. |

it fits sort of jazzy. unique vocal style. mix sounds pretty good. like the guitar coming in. the style fits what the song is about. |

it has alot of layers. i like that in a song. just when you think you got the scheme, it throws in some other element that keeps you listeneing.... nice track, Len...
