Feter.... doing a little Dylan with, as the others already have said, a little Airplane flying nearby. Some cool guitar work there, my friend. Very cool. D |

Captures the psychedelic 60s sound tinged with Dylan. Great song - very atmospheric. Peter |

shady grove I still HATE Dylan's singing, but UNFORTUNATELY he does epitomize the 60's, and you have DEFINITELY captured the spirit!!! What I'm saying Feter is that it's a GREAT tune. I've never done acid, but if I did, this song would be playing in my head.... |

Track of the Moment! Triiiiiiippppyyy. Yeah...I like the odd timing in some of the guitar lines - yea verily I proclaim this -' track of the moment' on Macjams and award it 700 'virtual' Macjams dollars. Sublime riff by the way - easy. |

Hait Asbury I think you capture that whole scene in this song, from the guitar tone to the rambling drums and Dylanesque vocal - its all there! |

This style really suits you Feter with the great vocals and guitar... and I just had to get my old Kaftan out... but guess what? it doesn't fit anymore LOL, cheers M |

Are we getting the same ... .. documentaries? I was just watching one the other day on the summer of lurv, hippy hill etc. And this sounds psychedelic enough to have been on it for sure. A goodie from your vaults I'd say. I too like the slightly quirky timing and good Dylan/Waters-esque singing. "Yeah, I wish I had a big fat horse" ..classic .. did I get that right? |

volunteers you captured the Haight-Ashbury feel perfectly. You just might re-ignite a revolution, and Marty/Grace/Paul/Jorma/Jack/Spencer would be proud.... Well done Feter. |

Nice touch on Mr.K...... Real nice sound for the lead; reverb/volume just right, gives the song a "depth of field" when countered by the Dylanish vocal. Made me think of what "All Along the Watchtower" would sound like in a spaghetti-western. I just might have to try your tuning method out on my mando. Cheers, Joe |

Memories... ...sure date some of us who are responding here!!! Bring out the oil pans and multi-colored lights...Reverb away!!! You've done a great job capturing that spacey bounce-back with great effects and some excellent guitar work. Peace. Paul |

a nice trip Feter, this is groooovy! A true to form west coast '60's scene. I'm a firm believer that someday the music of that time will be popular once again. I'm hearing new bands that are trying to capture it. |

Shady Grove Hello Feter, Sorry, for the delay. I had a lot of sleep to catch up on after trying to get some of my songs uploaded. I'm listening to Shady Grove and I'm impressed very much with your rendition. It's like splicing Dylan, Petty and Grateful Dawg (Jerry Garcia's bluegrass duo)and a touch of a Johnny Cash reverb presence.... awesome sound, very powerful!!! Thanks Feter for all your kind & generous comments, but I'm really enjoying hearing you!!!! Hope the New Year is treating you well so far, Thanks my friend, Wade |

I hear a bit of Mark Knopfler in the vocals ...kind of like his work on the live album Dire Straits 'Alchemy'. You have a great feel for this music Feter. It really comes across with a lot of heart and imagery. Keep well! Doug |

Awesome interpretation! Almost sounds like an alternate take of Quicksilver's version (minus Nicky Hopkin's amazing piano)! Nice psyched-out guitar riffing really captures the mood of the period. Fine vocal delivery! Great fun bro! Be well! |

Trippy! There is definately a DYLAN vibe going on here, it's cool. I don't like the echo on the guitar myself but it doesn't put me off the song. Well done. |

Dylan - Airplane - Spaghetti Western Someone mentioned Jefferson Airplane and it definitely has that sound and the vocalizations are Dylan-esque. It also has a feeling of those guitar themes that you hear on the Itallian westerns. It does acheive the mood. I am pretty amazed because I came here to listen to your stuff after you commented on mine and I find this peice along with your classical peice "Kneeling Under The Mountain". I really respect someone with such a broad spectrum of tallent and appreciation. I need to listen to more of your stuff. |

Sounds good. It really does feel like a 60's era psychedelic song. The sounds of the instruments and vocals are right on for this type of song. Was this recorded in GarageBand? It says in your description that it was done in 2004, did you use a different set up than you do now? |

I was there.... This sounds live - fantastic interplay between voice and guitar. The Dylan comparison is so obvious that I'll draw another: Rory Gallagher; Irish tour. Great song. MacFerret |

great guitars and vocals - very much a time capsule of the 60's ala Jefferson Airplane.
