What a fantastic dark rich voice you have. I really enjoyed this listen Feter, but you sound too much like you (and so you should) for me to guess. It's a lost Feter song. Cheers Len |

hmmm... a really nice post - great harmony vocals. I have no idea who it could be though. The intro could be from Pink Floyd's Animals - but of course lyrically it wouldn't fit with that! Very nice indeed. I'll keep thinking... Peter |

I'll first let you know that I love the song and the way you sing it. This is another one where I get glimpses of the artist but they fade before I can name them. I'll be back if it gets clearer. Great work my friend! Doug |

Great tune Feter - your voice is wonderful Peter's right about the Floyd - Animals. Pigs on the Wing pts. 1 & 2. Don't tell if we're right - yet. Could easily be wrong. |

fade into the new I had an idea. I think it would be neat to add a new version of this. Then fade the old into the new or the new into the old...errr...you get the idea. And it will need a video!!! |

Very nice- I enjoyed listening, but I do not know which "Lost Song" this might be. Hmmm.... the "Babe don't worry" part has a familiar melody, but I can't place it. |

Tune Love the tune. The Kris Kristofferson suggestions sound the closest, but I think we are missing someone we all know. This has a haunting familiarity to it. Thanks Bill |

Tricky This could be a Johnny Cash track? Or more obscurely it could be one of the more acoustic track outtakes from 69 Love Songs by The Magnetic Fields? Or Leonard Cohen circa Songs of Love and Hate? So many possibilities! Steve |

okay Feter first, my apologies. i just discovered this gem. as far as who it is: could be the Band, the Dead, Kris Kristofferson or Skip Spence. whoever you're going for, I know they were barefoot and rocking a massive beard (and were probably a little buzzed on some home made wine). I love this very much. |

Very smooth and sweet Feter I like your guitar backing and you singing. Was that bilal singing harmony with you on this. I don't know who bilal is, and I was just wondering. Beautiful recording my friend and very good harmonies. Be well Feter Ed |

I'm also inclined .. .. to say Johnny Cash .. although something in that opening melody line reminded me of the chorus in "Top of the World" by the Carpenters... hmmm, confused. Good straight forward number all the same. Fine inspirational lyrics and singing. |

This is a beautiful song with beautiful words and a great rendition too. I love when the harmony comes in, but you'll never sound like anybody else Feter; you've got your very own voice and it's very rich sounding, so I can't think who this is ... Elvis Costello? cheers M |

Really nice I have listened to this a couple of times and it gets better with each listen. Although I still don't know who it could be. The only names that surface is Bob Dylan, but you said band mates in the description, so I'm a bit lost. Lovely track. |

Another... ...unique number from the pen of Feter. Everything I hear of yours is so original. Folks can speculate all they like about who this sounds like, but they'll always have to come back to you. Harmonies are very very nice here, Feter, and your voice(s) gets stronger as the number moves along...just a tad too tentative at the beginning, but much stronger later on. You have such a rich bass voice. It is always a pleasure to hear it. (I'd love to hear you sing a tune that's a little more uptempo.).I enjoyed this so much. I'm glad the download worked today so I could hear this. Peace. Paul |

Feter Really cool tune. I'm going to say Kris Kristofferson from "Silver Tongued Devil And I". Some good tunes on that album... too bad this one didn't make the final cut :) |

Dove Of Belief I'm going to have to go with Johny Cash on Pink Floyd. |

feter... what a voice you have! I'd never heard it before. It's so dark and rich. And when the harmonies come in, wow. I can see why a producer might say it's "muddy." It's not always perfectly in time, etc. But it is so special and beautiful. You could probably fix the other stuff if you wanted to, and get it ready. Also, it seems there's too much reverb in the beginning, but when the harmonies come in, it's perfect --so maybe lessening the effects in just the first part? Dunno. But I truly enjoyed it. |

Very cool I love the vocal on this - it sounds resigned and kind of sad, almost like a spiritual, but the lyrics are positive and almost joyful. Very cool track. I probably wouldn't have guessed the album! Very cool. Nice work. Peace. |

Regret? Song sounds like it's being sung by a group of inmates on death row in an echo'y cell thinking about what they've learned from being confined and about to be released from the vice of a sour life. I really like the song, and as you say, it sounds like the perfect song to end an album. |

This is why music is of the soul Feter, I had to look to see if you wrote this. It sounds so traditional. But, when you think of traditional folk music, it was written from the heart and thats what this number has. Thanks for sharing. |
