Description When BossHook offered to put a real bass line on this tune I couldn't resist taking him up on it. Even though I thought it was a considerable waste of his talents to be plunking away at a bass on this silly tune.
Check out BossHook's artist profile here or better yet, check out his large catalog on "icompositions". Thank Boss, for adding a touch of class to this shoddy production. :)

Ya' didn't think
I was gonna let you get away with all those kindnesses you posted on my latest offering and not venture into your yard.Nice solid bass holding it all down while some wonderful guitar and vocal work just make the tune shine.Well done song crafting and great left coast rock/blues vibe.A second listen was required.Don't know of ever hearing such a cool song dedicated to someone as uncool as Larry King.Very cool!

Blesings,

buckhorn said 405 days ago
Thanks GC
I wasn't exactly thinking of Larry when I made up the tune, but I had to use the picture because It made me laugh, and kind of fit the theme. Hope you didn't get any dog doo on your shoes venturing into my yard. ;) Cheers

this
sounds great, much bigger and ballsier. this song always gets stuck in my head at the most random times. great re-mix man, and even greater song.

My testicle enhancement surgery finally paid off.....btw I down loaded the old hickory thing......if folks had any good taste you'd be enjoying some fat residuals about now. Cheers

bottom end
really liked the first.

but the addition of the bass does fill it out nicely.

buckhorn said 402 days ago
Thanks Vic!
Addition, subtraction, as long as its "filled out" Im happy. :) Regards

Well Thanks Maurice
Since I really don't consider my self as singing. But rather pretending to sing. Thank You for helping me delude myself, and suspend my credulity. ;) Thanks for stopping by. Regards

Magic.
This is a fucking belter man, 'shame on you' - superb hook - outstanding vocal delivery and an equally fine lyric - 'you were chauffuered in a black and white car just like a star - a falling star.' - wild! Pure quality. Tens all the way, Go Buck!

buckhorn said 400 days ago
Hey Gorgeous.
Thanks for the listen and words... I could use a few belts about now.

bonnieprincejohnny said 401 days ago
This is fabulous.
King For A Day is the the tune that I've extracted most pleasure from (with the exception of a few other pieces here at MJ) and it's a regular feature on my iPod when I'm at work. If it pleases you Buckhorn I'd like to have a go at a collab on this track, if you're up for it simply e-mail me here at MJ (I observed that your e-mail is disabled). Anyhow - I gave it tens all the way - just like the Wagon. Be calm.

Hey Bpj
Those are some awfully nice words. Its cool to think one of my tunes is on an ipod halfway around the globe. .... I think email is disabled for everyone, because of spam or something, You should be able to drop me a note. Talk to you latter.

I see I'll have to keep going back
through your catalog. You don't write a bad song - do you? Great playing - the groove and your vocals are wonderful. I take it you're not new to this game. Guess it's time to read the bio.

buckhorn said 386 days ago
Thanks Bud
Actually, I write Tons of crappy songs, I just think twice about posting them.

;) Thanks for your comments. I appreciate 'em. Regards
