Enjoyed... ...I have always loved this particular set of chord modulations (the ones beginning each verse)...A very comfortable feeling to this song throughout. You don't muck it up with a lot of extras: just straight-forward, folksy playing and singing. I do like the occasional instrumental bridges. I wonder if a refrain or chorus would serve you well...a kind of summary of the lyrical thoughts throughout the number. It would also give you some room to breathe melodically. Just a thought.
