We be Bagawkin'! Who says Chickens don't got rhythm? Alan, you really outdid yourself here... absolutely impeckable sense of comedic timing, this wings you a feather in your cap, you were able to pullet off brilliantly. My wife (owner of the now-rock-star chicken "Custard") thinks it is exquisitely funny, and now has it on her iPod and has played it from time to time all weekend while we were on vacation. I think you did a super job of choosing a humorously fast tempo, hip-hoppish instrumentation, I love the loud musical interjection in the middle with the chicken-disturbance, and your choice of "chicken nuggets", looped and inserted here and there makes this a giggly joy to listen to... puts a smirk on my face EVERY time I listen to it (now coming up on about 50 listens over 2 days now :-) Thank you for such a funny treat, you've made a whole house-full of chicks (and a rooster/dragon) really happy! And although the animated chicken artwork is silly, I actually liked your own artwork creation better. ttfn, Drakonis |

Just when you think you've heard it all along comes APB and a rapping chicken - care of Dakonis's ubiquitous Ember Rekindled. Well I'll be skewered and 'cued - this is a tasty little treat. |

filthy Alan, If you knew what filthy meant in American terms, you would be happy. Its what the kids say when they really like something. I didnt know if I should laugh or listen and laugh or just listen and then laugh. But still it had a touch of class?? |

Lots of depth, here... ...love the way you weave the music around the rhythm of the clucks...or is that vice versa? ;) ...great interpretation, apb...I'm hungry, now... |

Thanks ever so much .. Bud - thanks, with so many excellent versions .. it was about time for a bad one ... no wait ... summat wrong *doh* Secamode - cheers, glad you picked up that quality in the mix. Michael2 - oo almost got me .. I'm trying now not to listen to too many other versions before I do another (just in case). Will listen after though, nothing wrong with traditional- I didn't have this version really in mind when I started .. it just happened. musichead - :o) neither is never unacceptable. Class?? guitapick - ty- what came first the bed or the chicken? Well, the bed in this case: custard was steered a little around the bed. benchod abu - thanks! welcome to MJs!! Lizard*Whistle - :o) thanks for stopping in Scott Carmichael - lol darn you! Wish I'd remembered that one ;o) "Chicken Tikka you and I know.." egobandit - :o) no chickens were choked during the production of this song. damiengh - thanks, I'm off to cry in me guinness now .. thoddi - I agree, custard was a pleasure to work with and works for chicken feed too. Alannah - isn't that snakes? perceptualvortex - :o) it may be a world first! .. and quite probably last!! lol. I may just have ensured Custard's life.. 'Quiche' better shape up on the talent front ..I'm just sayin' .. |

as always your music cannot be placed onto a shelf of this genre or that. you are always bending the boundaries, and rubbing out the hard edges, to go your own way. brilliant. allen |

LOL!!!!!! Every time that chicken starts rapping, ooh. I have no idea where "Ember" or "Custard" came from, but oh I'm so glad, so glad. I will have to look this stuff up. The title is brilliant. You are so good at that. |

hehe hahaha drak sent this to me. this is the best rap i've heard and it's worth listening to! you guys need to take this chicken and head out onto the road! seriously though this is cool. perhaps experiment with different animals or sounds and make them rap and prove that not all rap is crap. |
