The vocals are awesome but seem alittle muffled I wish I could have understood them a little more sounds like the bass on them was a little too deep .....Frickin love the instrumental guys ...lovely song ! you should deffenetly clean this one up some cause there seems to be some fuzzy hiss in there too ....this is a n awesome song indeed . |

night as rich as espresso love the music, so lilting and heartfelt... very nice playing, great singing melody. It really did feel like I was sitting on the front porch at 10 PM, in the evening darkness sipping an espresso, listening to you two play and sing. Very cozy, with a touch of longing. ttfn, Drakonis |

A gentle night... Feter, Your rich voice is very pleasant on this piece and I enjoyed it very much. Also, the composition is just so simple in its structure. You did not succumb to the temptation to "fancy it all up" and so the message comes through emotionally and musically as I think you meant it to. ... I wish you had posted the words. I found the recording a little muffled and it was difficult to understand every line. I totally admire anyone who can make a collaboration across many miles/continents work. You guys did a great job. Peace. Paul |

Delightful Feter, you have a very soft and subtle voice but you fill it with emotion and expression. The honesty in your music always shines out. Very nice accompaniment from Jack to build up a layered sweetness of strings. It works beautifully. |

Beautiful! Great song Feter. There is a lot of emotions going on in this one. I enjoy the sound in general as well. Very warm sound. It sounds like you play this together at the porch, I agree on that! Your vocals are full om emotions, and technically great as well! Thanks For sharing this gem! |

You poured alot into this great song .. .. packed with heartfelt emotion and longing- the title is very appropriate. I love the "don't leave me blind eyes.. alone" lines in particular... I thought you were singing "don't leave me blind and alone" at first... One of your best singing and Mr.Sanchez recordings I've heard- has a kinda front-porch feel in playing, although the natural reverb/ambience? of the original recording location suggests otherwise... a more chilling winter, more in keeping with the lyrics/mood. Sweet guitar additions from Jack too, just enough, not over-done and fine mix. Apologies for taking so long to comment, getting forgetful. Be well Feter and congrats to you both on a fine collab. |

Sweet and simple Awww... What a magical little audio moment! There's something very special about this. One could easily imagine the many passing souls witnessed from views of this lonely old porch. And you can hear, that you were both there... Touching, to say the least. Thanks for sharing this. Macca |

Heartfelt Very lovely writing and I really like the sparse arrangement. The vocals sound really personal and sincere, and fit the guitar parts really well. A lovely piece of work. -Einar S. |

A very sad song Such emotion and feeling in this. I can't imaging what you were going through to bring this kind of feeling to the page, but I think I have an idea where it may have come from. It is a beautiful lament Feter and Jack did a fine job of helping you express the feeling tied to it. Bravo my friend, Bravo Ed |

Feter I know this comment is very late in coming, but I just had to say how beautiful it is to hear a song when it is truly FELT by the musicians. Thanks for letting yourself be vulnerable enough to expose your emotions and talent. |

.. This is very touching . . amazing...its beautiful wow unusual with this tempo I like it more the more times I hear it & ofcourse this gave me a BIG laugh ;(The Damascus Duet Session.... Jack was sneaked into Syria via the MacJams' underground railroad for a one night stand on Feter's front porch. After too many Expresso coffees they pulled out their instruments and Feter sang out from his heart.) ( 8 ) tx blessings to You & Syria/Damascus is that where U are ? Lena |
