Loads of Potential
This is a great recording - I'm still more impressed with your vocal talent - loads of versatility.At times like Jim Morrison at times like James Hetfield.I always wanted to be able to do the rock thing with my voice but alas no cigar.I might knock on your door for some vocals!
My only criticism here is slight distortion when you get louder back off the mic or turn the levels down a bit.Also you could program the drum machine with a bit more detail and perhaps think about trying some different sounds as the beat here sounds just a little too poppy for style your working in.But dont let that dampen your spirit - or not having many responses yet - it sometimes takes a while to get noticed round here,the site has grown in numbers beyond recognition in the last 5-7 years - there were only a handful of people here when I joined.It might be good to read the lyrics too but thats each persons preference.Anyway - I'm well impressed

i realy appreciate the compliments and comments. the vocal talent here is my bandmate greg...he does have a jim morrison baritone style going on most of the time. he fits a lot of the songs i write so well that i can't possible take them for my solo work. he's a great friend, and i think a great talent. i'm sure he'd be willing to work with some of your material...and if you'd like another instrumentalist OR vocalist (backing or whatever) i'd be willing to do the same.

I found
this difficult to listen to at first,but I am glad I persevered (....thanks to a prog rock up bringing when no new song was easy at first listen...)the whole thing twists and turns tonally and has a funky undertone to a rocky overall feel.actually I disagree with Paddler about the drums I think the slightly hippity hoppity drums add a counterpunch to the heavier rock gtrs etc I liked it a lot by the end,then replayedit, then downloaded it ..
