alien time I was wondering how someone would approach Bud's drum track. You came up with a cool approach. cool melody and synths. really like the classic Kieth Emerson synth lead |

I think... ...that it's about time somebody took this "alien thing" seriously. All these movies about their "good intentions" when you and I know what's REALLY happening here... Synth rules, here...very cool...need to get something to "take it down with", my next listen. |

Just great! I love all those little extra bits and pieces you drop in throughout the number. There seems to be some throughful strategy going on here. A nice track for some bizarre film clip. ... As you know, I don't usually "think" in these terms, but I sure can appreciate what you guys have done here... The ending: AWESOME. Just love it. Peace. Paul |

Neat PeacePiano, this is an excellent track. I love the Clavinet sounds. One of my favorite records is Bill Withers' "Use Me" which used Clavinet (the real thing) to great effect. I also love the panning of the various sounds on either side of my headphones. Reminds me a lot of early Billy Preston instrumentals from the late 60s and early 70s, like "Outa-Space" and "Space Race." Your pitch-bend wheel is getting a real workout. You really know your way around a keyboard! That ending is just terrific. I have always loved 'true' synth sounds, sounds which do not attempt to reproduce any traditional instrument, but revel in their own glorious electronic uniqueness. And that last lick really exemplified that. Weird pitch bends, scratch-type sounds -- great stuff! |

Very cool The synths and rhythms, here and there, remind me of so many other artist back through the decades all fused together in such a fresh and an interesting way. Great results guys! And thanks for bringing this forth! Keep well, Doug |

Great stuff The moog sound is great. Also the tubular bells. It has a retro feel - like from the early 1970s when those instruments were being used in a lot of the pop music I wasn't supposed to be listening to. I love the way you take that ascending pattern, and then instead of stopping and moving on to something else, you keep going and going. You do end up with some cool effects at the end. I don't think you ought to fade the bells - they're great as they are. |
