Feter my friend - great to hear from you I'm glad you like this little experiment. Thanks for your enthusiastic response. I had a real problem getting the mix together on Every Day so I asked Vic to help out. I think he did a great job considering how unsophisticated my recordings are - and his guitar addition really helped under the verses. |

Sweet concept ! great colabs and very nice songs indeed : ) Really like the lennon/acid rock song the second one .....hey did you know that they used to sell record players for your car back in the day ...really you would set it up in the trunk and they had one that would actually flip the record for you man I want one how cool would that be : ) Nice tunes man ! |

spinning records... ..for a slumber party! Oh we giggled and played games sure. And the ferocious pillow fights. To bad Bucky got sick from to many ham sandwiches and had to go home. Anyway i liked the A/B side concept. Your vocals and lead guitar on the first where dynamite, kinda like crazy horse and A. Coppers "I'm Eighteen" The second tune is enough to make one want to wear nehru jackets and medallions. What a party. |

Great... ...contrast between the tunes. Your vocals reach another level of risk and they both work well. You're right about the bass and I really like the musical chorus in Girl in Black. The sitar-like raga feel is perfect. Serves as a nice frame for the solitary girl, gets at the mystery. You got my $.99! |

~ How cool to hear the 2 sides of a single, again... Great concept, executed beautifully be everyone involved. And you're right about the upbeat then romantic flipside. Cool. Like the movement into the Harrison sitar line...nice strings before it... Real fine songwriting, folks... I absolutely love the crackling... |

Itching Powder You guys are grounded! Now up to your rooms! I thought I liked side A best, but after 3 good listens, I still don't know which is better. They belong together (north pole south pole) but wow. I love the vocals, I love the guitars and I love the fact that you gave us both sides and i didn't have to flip my mp3. I'm so relieved to see that there is hope for the future of music. You guys never bore me. You never even come close to looking like you're about to run out of ideas, nor play it safe. This is a band I would love to be in. God bless you all for pulling the barrel out of my mouth and giving me a reason to live, I mean, for such a great song. Vic, you are a genius as bud accused you of. I guess al you guys are in a club or something where you just hang out and do cool things together. Man, I'd trade my paper clip collection for a judge's decision to nullify a restraining order that forces me to stay 500 feet from your band room. Oh well. Thanks again. You are the Beatles. |

Quality pop Great songs... ahh, the days when bands wrote decent a and b-sides, and you'd rush home and play 'em both. 2 different songs, both pull me back to my youth... can you release this on vinyl pleeze? steve |

both sides now great job guys! cool idea. the A/B contrast of the songs plays well into the 45 RPM record A/B sides. like back in the days when both sides were good. these days you only get one song for your buck. those synth horns sound sooo familiar... where have i heard that? this is gonna bug me til i remember. big there's a big hole in your song! thanks |

I have somehow managed to leave a double fave by mistake on quite a few songs. I have just been trying to replicate that and of course now won't work, shame. You just keep surprising - something new again. Do you ever sleep? Great collaboration - both songs sound fantastic to me and very enjoyable listens. Cheers Len |

B-Side... ...equally good. Downright poignant... I wonder how many MJers remember buying the latest hits on 45 rpm records! ha ha... We've dated ourselves yet again! |

what a concept. sorry I got on this so late (it slipped down the list). I think they are both great songs, but Side B is my fave. When you get done with Vic, you should try a collab with Robyn Hitchcock. Great stuff. |

Excellent concept... .. and I just love the B-side! .. that catchy sitar line wonderful .. but I just love the feel .. feeling you can sink back into .. and the singing and arrangement is top notch. A-side was good too .. but as with the old vinyl days .. with the two side just asking to be chosen between .. I would have ultimately played the B-side most often to be honest. Great lyrics too. I think it's the DoD drum loop .. the patterns are great but they seemed a bit 'heavy hit' for the feel of the A-side song .. and the bass drum seems particularly heavy in comparison to the rest of the kit on these phones/monitors...and on some fills the compression kicks in hard on them .. backing vox perhaps a little too much reverb on them. Just my observations. Kudos to y'all - appologies for being late. |

Just like the old days:) Cool with that dual song concept. And both works great. The sitar sounds pretty real. Very good songs, and great performance by you all. |

Cool concept and well executed. Every Day is a great song. Great drum work and guitar play. The lyrics are brilliant and well sung with mad harmonies (is it same person but just slowed down a bit?). Girl in black again is well sung and I love the sitar with all the other instruments playing the melody. Really good. Top marks |
