Great tune Feter Beautifully paced and patiently played. I hear a little Greek influence in the music - but I'm no expert in these things. Glad you shared this early work. |

Great I like the way its recorded - I'm a huge fan of things in mono like china pig captain beefheart.Something timeless bout it.Great track - I was imagining being drunk on a horse having lost a woman.Ah but now I see it is about a sinking ship - which makes it all the more poignant |

Very fine Lovely playing. There's such an interesting blend of cultures in this ... a kind of bluesy structure with delicate middle-eastern flourishes woven through it. Sounds beautiful. This sounds to me like a great excuse for you to buy that Fender you were looking at. ;-) |

Walking Riding a horse at a walk is the image I see. Relaxed and steady. I like the way you play it. Thanks Bill |

It's all Greek to me... This is very pretty, I love the bouncy 2/4-time thrumming, and the sweet soft melody over the top. For some reason, this has a hint of old Greek Folk music to me... although to be really Greek, you would continue playing this same tune faster and faster, while drinking Ouzo (blech.) But I like the slow gentle pacing, and soft guitar work here. Good piece, Feter! Thank you for returning to it! I am glad it did not sink and get forever lost! ttfn, Drakonis |

Peacefully calm... sad, knowing the context. Well composed and performed, Feter. Your first has much to commend itself as one of your best. J |

beautiful... There is a calm yet melancholy feel to this simple composition. Very nice! Something old and folk-song sounding to it too...it matches well the subject of its inspiration. |

Reminds me... of ballads I would hear coming from our radio when my father would come home at night from work and listen to his favorite Greek station. Bringing him - at least in his mind - back to his home land. It's soulful music that's both mellow and wise. I love it. Peace my friend, Charlie |

Delicate... ...and thoughtful...Those are words that come to mind immediately. There's a certain serenity to this piece and you play it with wonderful restraint. Sometimes mining those old tune we've written years ago ends up with new understanding and new appreciation and a new interpretation that just "clicks." That seems to be the case here... (P.S. I just re-listened to your Organ Suite. It's...WOW! Blows me away. You move from the sublime (Andrea Doria) to the powerful (the organ suite) with quite a deft hand. ) Peace. Paul |

Sad Sad and reflective. Sounds like there could by lyrics for this as a dirge. Love your layering of sounds. Your use of the lowered sixth degree of the scale as a melodic element is very effective. |
