Deep, haunting You have a way of writing music that accesses my subconscious mind... Always moving, always operating at a deep level. It's great to hear a new song of yours, you talented man! Hope all is well with you. |

cool love the chord progression and melody, and then when the beat comes in it was really unexpected. your voice sounds great, almost reminds me of David Sylvian (one of my faves). great stuff. |

Very original; love the textures, the spoken voice, and "surprise guitars" near the end. |

Candies Fascinatin' stuff. Walter, you have such a cool style. The spare, somewhat edgy arrangement makes me think of Tom Waits. I really like the extra voice in there. You have included all sorts of little touches, and they all seem essential to the overall song. Really great work, man! |

Mmm you know, you write the songs I have to fave before it's even over, and then, when it gets even better, I wonder if I can fave again. Surreal carousel feel to this. The innocence mixed with the dark human nature of this is thrilling. |

into the mystic Your creative melody lines that comes rolling from that keyboard, and the whole composition really brings on a mystic mood to me. The spoken words are a tasteful element in here. Nice sax as always Walter:) |

life is like a box of chocolates sorry had to throw that in. Well Walter, this is splendid. The break with the female voice is a cool diversion and really adds a bonus to the ears. China Girl part 2. In only the way that you could do it. Very Excellent piece . I like the cherry filled myself. |

Reminds me... ...of a scarier version of 'The Fat Lady of Limbourg'... One of those, 'is this about what it's about' sorts of song... So many of the lyrics, so many of the words, are sweet, are clear, are even romantic, and yet this ends up a dark, suspenseful, scary song... To me, anyway... Ed |

Echoes of Bertolt Brecht a certain Threepenny feel - very evocative vocals and a haunting arrangement. I like how you worked your inspiration into the end. Well done. I'm off to have a chocolate. |

Mmm ... chocolate! I'm always amazed at how much depth and originality you can bring to a sparse and uncluttered arrangement, as you do in the first verse here. I guess it helps that you have a voice so full of character it could carry a song by itself, but really you are a master of the art of uncluttered songwriting, and making every note count. The heavier build-up towards the end is terrific ... the cherry on the top of the truffle. |

so crafty So very crafty. Thank you for this. Your vox is intense, as are the chords. Perfectly constructed and performed. An inspiration to the creative spirit. Your sound is deep and calculating, creating a big screen for the imagination. very cool |

Excellent ... .. production Walter - this really reaches out and grabs. There's no ignoring your presence in this lovely song. There's something about your songs (and this is no exception) that really "clicks" with me. Your vocals have become quirkier, yet at the same time more accessible (and much better recorded), but to me the main change has been the improvement in your confidence in the musical tracks. This sounds really pro quality, and there must surely be a big market for what you do (if that's what you wanted). I'm really happy that you are here sharing this amazing music. And you Belgians are specialists when it comes to create somethin' sweet an sticky ;)
