Description Life is a crowded room. Sometimes you have to tune out to tune in to fill your head with new sights and sounds.

Another cool tune! You macjammer people are keeping me busy. - I thought that I spent too much time organizing sound, but Vic, you are a busy, busy man latley. And even more impressive, it's all good stuff!

Some pertty clever writing. Totally dign' the g'tar on this. A bunch of goodies in this - I'm sure that I've said this before, but if I haven't, I like your vocals Vic. The bass - nevermind! - I just like the whole thing. Okay.

BIG sound Vic
This sounds to me like one of your best productions - the sound is crisp and clear and makes everything so identifiable. Great balance and spread across the s.s. Like the song itself as well - more Kinks than Beatles for a change - love what you do with guitars, especially your rhythm playing. Fantastic sounds on the leads. Bass and drums work really well together - simple, but tasteful, with just enough variation in the kit to sound like a real drummer - except he didn't ask for another beer anywhere that I could hear :) Vocals are excellent also. A fine post Vic - congratulations!

the ever popular fragmented chord theory at work. I've been working on breaking that down to bits and pieces. An attempt to minimize parts but to still sound full. I was pretty happy how it turned out. Except the bounce down from 24 bit to 8 bit took out some quality. You know how it is.

The song isn't really about avoiding people. It's about focusing on the project at and tuning the office mayhem out.

Ironically I've only bought one Kinks album in my life. From '81 I think.

okay...
...here's the plan before the authorities show up at the front door. First we'll say Lenny did it and he's not on his meds. Then we'll do the Abbott and Costello routine of who's on first. Next we'll shake pop cans pop them open and spray down the whole room. Another round of Who's on First. Then we will ramble on about the benifits of thyme and oregano. By this point they will not only not hear us any more but we will become invisible. Now that doesn'r sound insane. huh?

	Got my attention "That would be something"...I think that was a title of a McCartney song. Been having problems with net connection lately, but I love to hear your stuff when I can and I really liked this one. You have such a distinctive sound that I very much admire. Post a couple bad songs to make me feel better about my stuff. Stay tuned for the return of the Lava. Really enjoyed. Dave

Like you said Vic - the more you try to sound like someone else the more you're stuck with yourself - well, that's pretty good I reckon.

I hear many many things in this. It's like a voyage through the history of rock in four minutes.

What I like about your stuff is that it's loose. Yes there's structure, and great hooks (that's a great chorus btw) but it stays scruffy around the edges (I'm talking about the meter of the lyrics stumbling in places here), but to me it's like Neil Young with Crazy Horse - putting an album down in a weekend before the feeling has gone. Which is a good thing.
