vapid?
hardly. i like this one, you're voice sounds great too. it's all so relaxed. kind of makes me feel like i'm climbing in the truck and heading out to the lake for a couple of cold ones with friends. BTW i only listen to good music in the truck.

buckhorn said 505 days ago
well
The reason I said vapid is because the lyrics are kinda lame and there isn't much of a melody, but I must have have thoght there was was something to it otherwise I wouldn't have done it in the first place...... btw your the third one to mention drinking in conjunction with my music, perhaps I should quit now before I encourage any more drunkenness. kidding. Thanks for the words. Regards

more
of a vibe than anything. i haven't had a drop in 12 years actually.

Burritos
You are so original buckhorn. Really honest too. Michael2 and you are cast from the same mold in many ways.

I"m not drinking, I'm thinking about burritos.

I'm downloading this for my next drive.

Good work.

Thanks for sharing.

Please
Don't citicize Michael by comparing him to me. ;) . He is my hero. I guess Im like him in that I also have given up some of my nasty habits. Not all though. I have not found a program that would help kick my burrito habit. And lets face it. If burritos are wrong I don't want to be right. sorry Im getting silly. thanks for stoppin in.

very easy
listening song; nice and relaxing the vocals are good and I like the guitar in the back. Just nice all round, cheers M

Hey Maurice
I guess the song is easy is because the listener doen't need to concern himself with mundane things like lyric and melody. ;) Thanks for the words I appreciate it. Regards

Good song
Nice vibe to this...vocally reminds me a bit of East River Pipe... good melody and guitar work!

you guys always make me feel so ignoarant by mentioning artists I don't know. I suppose igorance is bliss :) thanks for the words. Regards

Mcboy said 489 days ago
but
u have brought your own to the music.......it doesnt sound like a 50's song anymore....u have a pretty sexy voice say some of the chicks hanging out with me listening......i liked it...more from u.....!!!

buckhorn said 487 days ago
Thanks Dude
Good to see a comment from the maestro...I was hoping it sounded a little 50's 'cause I've been on a 50's kick, not the obnoxious crap, but the good stuff like buddy holly.........if what those girls say is correct its only because I prescribe to Komrade K's advice for singing preperation. Thanks for stoppin in. Regards

fifty-somethin'
This has that classic, riding in a convertable through back roads quality with a little extra somethin'. I'm not sure how to describe it. There's that slow, familliar groove that just pleases inside, mixed with a vibe that's almost a little too humble.
i guess i mean to say that i like it.

buckhorn said 484 days ago
thanks Dude
I appreciate the listen and comment. Good luck with the new band!

Jukebox Cantina
Here in Arizona there used to be a radio program that could beat anything in the country called "Jukebox Cantina". They specialized in good alt/insurgent country that waved the middle finger at anything from Nashville execs. This is a song that would make me wait in my car to see who it was so I could pick up the record. Great honest singing with Steve Earle honesty in the lyrics. Thanks for this!

nice
i love everything everything about this song. especially ur voice and the harmony. good stuff dude =)

Nice tune!
Not vapid at all - I need to buy a truck :) I need a cup of tea after that!

All round cool post - some odd timing going on with the hihat early on in the recording ("tell me what I have to do ... what it was for") but otherwise just a well written and performed post.
Cheers,
Neil
