Description A new little Demo from me. Close up and personal.. Mostly just to tell you that I am still alive:). Hopefully I am back for good here at macjams, posting songs, listening and commenting! Bought a couple of new guitars as well, they are fantastic!
Lyrics I tried my best just for
The wish i had did not come through

There are times i Feel doubt
about my postition, amongst those i surround

There times that i stop
The energy is lost, and I just have had enough

I told you
one lie

And then I said I was sorry and started to cry

There are times i feel shame
A crowd angry people, Crying out my name

But I always tend to rise
This time i wasnt able to listen to advice

I kept it all to myself
but everyone could see
id turned in to someone else

nice song
i like this very much, nice lyrics and I really like your voice and the sound of the guitars. this is a really cool little song, it's kind of indie folk; don't know if you meant it that way or if it's the honest quality to your voice. great job.

Great
demo. Your gentle vocals really complement the acoustic guitars. Love the tune. Thanks for posting and welcome back.

Welcome back!
Good to hear that wonderful vocal and harmony once again. Lovely melody Magnus and poignant lyrics. Really like the sound of those guitars too.

Be well man!

great song!
brilliant melody magnus, i simply adore the sound of your guitar (is it one of those new fantastic ones? :) the rhythm and the picking at the beginning are great. your vocals just stroke one's souls, very soothing, smooth and warm. very very nice lyrics. how comes i don't know you?! shame on me! (do you know me?) you make truly beautiful music. love this one and going to check your other stuff.

Hey, Magnus, welcome back!
You know, you've still got that 'selters sound', a bit of a lo-fi-ish thing, but I can hear things getting clearer and sharper and tighter...

The guitars are right on the beat and in the groove, and nicely spread left and right, with some nice treble. The singing is also right on pitch and beat, and the doubling is very tight as well...

I, um, I seem to see the word 'Martin' among your possessions now...MARTIN!... And a ROSEWOOD Martin...Don't you have to sell your house and a neighbor's house to buy a Martin in Europe? Man, and TWO new guitars... Congratulations!...

Well, aside from equipment, I think this is a really sweet song. The lyrics are simple and clear, with just a hint of ambiguity that draws the listener in... You have a gift for melody and for singing the melodies that you write...

It's very good to have you back...

Thanks Ed!
The martin guitars has become a lot cheaper in Norway the last year, mostly because of the low dollar rate! Still, I had to work full time during my holiday, but it was worth it. Thanks a lot for listening and for your encouraging comment!

Impressive return Magnus
Lovely song - the guitars sound well recorded (as well as having a beautiful tone), and your vocals sound much more self-assured (the result of playing live more perhaps).
Really nicely recorded and produced.

Nice!
I enjoy the general sound. There were some vocal parts that sounded like Art Garfunkel. Your voice has a real gentle tone. Very good!
