very cool! even through the old tape -- I bet that's traveled around a few interesting places. This is one of my all-time favorite songs, so you picked a real good one. All the players sound very skilled, too. i wnder what you all would sound like today. Great work! Jamorama |

real tape You get used to hearing digital music, so hearing this old tape is like an old friend calling you ... groovy little tune, great vibe. Thanks Feter! Steve |

very fun... you do capture a bit of old Americana here, even the Southern Drawl (accent) in the singing was great. Perfect kind of guitar playing for this, and the music (and the "faded" analog recording sound that made it sound like an old record) had my smirking big time. ttfn, Drakonis |

Dazed and Amazed You guys sound great! This is truly amazing stuff! It sounds very much like old-time, classic country music The fact that it was recorded on cassette just makes it sound more like the real thing. Amazing! (I know I said that already, but still... Amazing!) |

:) This is really interesting Feter. I like listening to this a lot, and, even more importantly, I think this really shows how much we are all the same. I'm making a big assumption that this was recorded in Iraq here, but some people don't get how much we all have in common - including a musical history. A great old recording. I watched a French film last night about a couple who travelled to Algeria (via Morocco). The film was OK (beautiful photography), but the music was amazing (both Spanish and North African). Any time you can post some Iraqi music I'll be all ears! Peace! Neil |

Well that's a classic Generations and generations of country/folk singers have done this one, and you not least among them. It's a traditional rendition, but I'm sure it got you some gigs. Don't you think computers are a big improvement over cassette tapes, as far as sound quality goes? Victor. |

my god this is awesome too. I was thinking that after my rock period is over, i was going to move into a folk phase, and you do it so good I may have to rethink that decision. I think that you could be a huge indie rock star, what with that nasty slide and a drum machine. this made me smile. |

omg nothing like that old sound, man. . .this song is a gem. It's like a time capsule in a way. What's funny is sometimes simple equipment give the coolest sound. Love it. |
