I loved to go to parks and play over pieces like Joaquin Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuéz By that I mean, take a CD player with speakers and play at parks. My kids when growing up liked to go to parks and that was an opportunity to play guitar as well. Here is a beautiful Gorge Sakallariou piece. I took lessons from him at his house when I wanted to learn more about the Concierto de Aranuez. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f70EKu07aV0 He was a San Francisco Conservatory teacher and was a student of Andre Segovia.

Thanks Movis I hope in some way I can be inspirational for few artists here to go and learn more about Barrios. In all my years of playing, he really struck me has having a form of music that was quite graceful and unique. A special man indeed I think. He also wrote poems and was involved in other areas of learning which really impressed me! 	I have listened to John Williams version, Angel Romero, David Russell, but it has a bit more of a Chet Atkins structuring. Many people don't know this I but Chet Atkins was one of the first guitarists to record Barrios music.

Thanks Jig It's rewarding if people want to listen to it more than once, in other words if people download it and really want to listen to it. If it can continue doing that (in an enjoyment mode) then I don't think I could put a price on that very accurately. Maybe even a value past money! But of course, in this life. It is very hard to not be influenced by the almighty dollar. But I really appreciate the kind comments, questions, suggestions etc.

	This piece was recorded in sections cause I didn't have it memorized. I love this piece so much though I have most of it memorized now. When I have to turn a page i lose my timing for sure. I"ll have to get one of those speedy automatic page turners:) Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks kristyjo "Your technique is fantastic, but you have a lot of that warmth that a piece like this needs to sound musical. Just what I love about the classical guitar. So... you took lessons from a person who took lessons from Segovia? Wow, that means I know a guy who took lessons from a guy who took lessons from Segovia!" It is nice to hear a piece of the classical guitar repertoire from you, Bill. It is a nice counterpoint to the pieces you compose and arrange for the guitar. It wasn't a whole lot of lessons, but he helped me out with some very difficult music. Andre Segovia Is a hero of mine. Now if only Andre and Chet can get along that would so nice.
